This is dropped by Ragnaros in Molten core, 40 man raid instance. Provides a better critical strike with agility, and provides a better chance to hit, so technically you are getting a better chance to hit with critical strikes.

Thats the one I looted off rag long ago, I like the new form of it better however. Dropping 4 agility for 16 attack power is really nice (probably something to do with the hunter changes, but makes my kitty happy :) )

This and Circle of Applied force are the 2 best cat dps rings in game atm.

fact is its not gonna be up to you if you roll for it or not, if you get to rag and kill him your in an extremely high end raid guild and your guild will decide who gets the drop, stop thinking like selfish noobs

I play a rogue and my guild does bosses 1-9 of MC and Onyxia every week. When we do kill rag there will be three classes who get to roll on this, rogues, hunters and warriors. The rogue Vs hunter argument has gone on long enough as most of the time it will go down to dkp anyway. We are allowing warriors to roll for this because dps fury warriors covet agi as much as str and +hit before all. warriors dont get precision so they need all the help they can get to negate the dual wield penalty, and ashamed though i am to say this but a fury warrior with the right gear who knows what he's doing can easily pass rogues on the meter. anyway, arguing about classes is pointless because at this stage dkp is the deciding factor. It benifits each class greatly and simply having it on yourself or a guildmate will improve the raid, raid dungeons are a team effort, if you are a selfish enough rogue to *!@#$ about hunters needing this, or a dumb enough hunter who cant see that this benifits rogues and DW warriors as much as you then you arent in a guild that can take rag down anyway.

+to hit modifier is good for rogues and fury warriors who are dualwielding, because base to hit with white attacks for them is 75% and they need much more miss reduction than hunters (who do miss just 5% times). I would prefer to get Don Julio's and Quick strike for my hunter and Don Julio's and Band of Accuria for my warrior and my rogue. That was quet well explained why rogues suffer much when they miss, now let me explain why fury-warrior does. When warrior hits he gets rage, when he gets enough rage he becomes able to do something, so as long as he misses, he delays his ability use more and more. As soon as war uses his instant damaging abilities he not only deals damage, but gets one more chanse to deal a critical strike which toggles flurry which increases his DPS... etc.

and here comes +0.8 to crit for warrior and +0.8 to dodge, as well as some armor bonus from agility.
warrior will get +1 to crit, +40AP (i have 1400AP when both crusaders on my weapons proc, 1000AP without crusaders) and a bit of block damage reduction from Quick strike ring. tell me, what is better?

now tell me why this is not a warriors' item as well as rogues' and hunters'? (i want to point once again, that this is even not better ring for hunter than Don Julio's nor Quick strike).

If you are killing Rag you obviously can do the rest of MC, so hunters should be rocking the GS set (giving you 4% chance to hit), and a tarnished elven ring for their 5%. After that, go for AGI and crit%. This is a nice T.E.R. replacement, but will benefit rogues and warriors more than hunters. (I'm a hunter BTW)

Greater for hunters, combat rogues, and warriors...end of story.

Each of these classes can benefit from this ring, which is why it is open to all 3 classes in my guild...you want this ring bad enough? Bid your dkp, if you win, you wanted it more than anyone...it's done.

Personally, as a SF dagger rogue, I like the ZG ring set more. I get 64 AP, 14 agi, 16 stam, crit, and chance to hit.

Im sorry to say (and i think many will agree with me here) that so many people dont no shiat about WoW and all of the classes/specs out there. This is great for rogues, great for hunters, and great for fury warrs, I heard some1 say warrs shouldnt roll on this because they should stick to strength/stamina, when + hit % and agility are the mopst important stats for a fury warrior. All of these classes can spend DKP on this and all have a benefit from using this, but saying "there are better rings out there for warriors so they shouldnt roll" is bullshiat l2p Thanks all (im a shaman btw, not a biased fury warrior =P)

Agree with most of your points however you will find 1agi = 1 atk power.

It is a very nice ring, comparrison to Don Julios you will be losing 10HP and 1% to crit in exchange for 1% to hit.

My personal view as a Combat Rogue.

This ring goes to.
1. Fury Warrior
2. Fury... Combat Rogue(white damage is Large potion of our damage so 2% is very good)
3. Hunter/other Rogues since they need the Agi equally much

But no point arguing everyone wants it and most comments are of pure greed and not for the best of their guild. Do as we do, w8 for the Item that is perfect for you and give this ring who it is perfect for, then your guild will be optimized.

right now I am building a high chance to hit% gear for my offhand to miss less in duel wield.. i actually think this would be avaible to hutner,rogue,or warrior..
but as a warrior i can get around a 10%+ chance to hit..which could make it even much betetr to kill enemeis which is really worth it.. who cares "this ring is for a (isnert class)" unless you get it stfu dont like it save your DKP up.

guys guys come on.

This ring is good for the following classes for these reasons

Hunter: Agl gives attack power so more damage and less chance to miss plus the nice stam to raise hp

Rogue: same deal more attack power, less missing and more hp

note: increase crit chances as well for hunter and rogue :P

Warrior: for warriors its different. Agl only increases our crit and armor (that applies to everyone though) so really we get .8% crit chance increase a little hp and higher chance to hit. quick strike ring is better save ur dkp for that not this imo (though ur gonna have a hellvu alot of rogue and hunter with ya there :P)

Palladin: go get lionheart helm if you want offensive power imo (Lionheart Helm get a ring that ups ur mana

Its a rogue/hunter ring imo saving ur dkp for that anyone else may not be the best choice again imo

A hunter/rogue ring, definitely. Paladins and warriors who want crit can get +crit stuff, agility is fairly minimal for them really whereas hunters and rogues get attack power from it as well as crit.

Given that I'm highly unlikely to see Ragnaros for months (being on a backward server and not in the one big guild that's actually getting close to seeing him), I find it kind of irritating that most of the hunter loot in MC is on him (striker's mark and blastershot aside). Casters can complain all the like about the lack of caster items on Ragnaros besides set legs, but that's because most of the previous bosses (especially the earlier ones, the ones any guild doing MC has killed the most) are stocked up with caster and tank items. Not every boss is going to have lots of items for every class, not even something like Ragnaros. Deal.

I have this ring and i'm a fury warrior. I shamelessly outbid all of the rogues and hunters in the raid for this and guess what? They all supported me getting this. Why? They know that I am the guilds top damage dealer and this ring will increase my already insane damage greatly. That will do nothing but help the guild progress. Our guild members care more about overall progression through content than whether or not a certain class can or can not get an item. That is how a guild should work. The guilds that only care about loot for themselves need to go get a hot load of ejaculate squirted up their asses and die.

I am a Hunter...
so this ring is nice for us. ok. Evrybody crys that Hunter rolls on anything... What is it Rogues? u got more than 20 non Set items u can roll on. And u still cry.
Us Hunters have:
Accuria
Truestrike
Crown of Destruktion
Band of Applied Force
thats all we can roll in MC and BWL. Try to think a litte... thx

a sword rogue gets his main dmg out of his white normal attacks, which have a default miss rate of 25%.

so this ring is imo for DW warriors and sword rogues.
with strikers mark (or satyrs bow), the dm trinket, nightslayer, onyxia tooth pendant and elven ring I get 11% extra hit - so I miss only 14%.

a dagger rogue gets his main dmg out of his special attacks ambush & backstab - and the power comes from his ATP.

I as a rogue with viskag and brutality LOVE this ring and got it for a &*!@ load of dkp (against a hunter btw).

I picked this up last night off rag I wasnt entirely sure if I wanted it or not to start with but thought wth extra chance to hit is always good so decided to buy it using dkp. There were hunters/rogues/pallies and then 2 dps warriors (myself and 1 other) who bid on it.

As for the comment about if your a arms/fury warrior you will not see MC most likely your very wrong there is absolutly no reason why a arms/fury or fury/arms warrior cannot go MC.

I also am the second MT for raggy due to my FR gear being very good and I can snap grab aggro if 1 of the MT's go down for whatever reason even with salvation on and keep the mob glued to me.

On Domo myself and the second MT are the ones who tank the first 6 mobs while 2 other warriors offtank the last 2 elites away from the raid.

As long as a dps warrior knows how to play his class there is no reason why he cant tank in MC when needed just because we are spec'ed for damage doesnt mean we dont have our tanking skills. Oh and im an Arms/Fury warrior btw walking around with a SR.

I dont't know about you but I, as a rogue, want to have +5 to Hit Chance on my gear, so none of my specials will miss anymore. Let's say you go for the NS set, then you have +2 Hit Chance... 3 more to go. For me these 3% come from Striker's Mark and this Ring.

OK, not to start anything, and trying more to stop people from flaming and more..

In a DKP situation, the Loot Master should specifiy clearly who can roll on certain items and who can't.. FOR EXAMPLE, agility stama and hit/crit is definitely rogue.. Because rogues use all of those and best. Fury Warriors are second to rogues because rogues can dump their aggro. So rogues doing more damage is more important than fury warriors doing more damage. Secondly, Feral Druids have equal right to grab this item as rogues. I have no problem with this.. I love feral druids.. Got my second favorite buff in the game (er, third, forgot about salvation :P )

Secondly, This can be USEFUL for hunters, but they cannot use it as fully as rogues can.. So let that be in people's mind

If u are not in a raiding guild and do not regularly do MC/BWL/AQ/ZG/Onyxia, u don't know how it works and should not open your mouth and start class confliction. I know that what items I can roll on and what ones I can't.. If there is an item that I want, I know that it is going to be at a time when the class that primarily NEEDS that is going to need it..

For example, I am a rogue, and want the one handed legendary weapon.. However, that is much better served in the hands of a tank. ETC. I wouldn't dream of taking that from a tank.

Another example, any bow/gun/crossbow that a hunter is rolling on.. I would never EVER roll DKP (or even NEED in a 5/10 man dungeon) if a hunter was. That's their main weppie.. That's like w arlock bidding / rolling on a DPS-based dagger (as oopposed to their stats based daggers made for them. ETC)

It's rude and selfish to think that you can grab up items just because u can wear them or just because u can use one of the stats..

Rogues primary stats are AGILITY, second is STAMINA.. primary equup bonuses = CRIT + HIT.. ALL rogues need and shoud lhave crit %. Attack power should be high, but crit is far more important since they get so many skills to increase their crit.. Dagger rogues ESPECIALLY, since they get +5% to crit and can easily get their crit VERY VERY HIGH.

So, several classes could use this and make GOOD use out of it.. But don't forget who it is primarily for.. Rogues and FERAL Druids.. If you are not one of those classes, think twice before grabbing this away from what would be your fellow guildies..

In the guild I am in, people are very good about letting classes having their boons. That goes for ALL classes. I exercise such responsibility and generosity even if I am running a PUG instance.. I don't demand tha tother people do.. But remember that you will get better things for your class and so will others in your guild if you let people have their boons.. If hunter takes rogue stuff. Rogue is gonna take hunter stuff. or mebbe warrior stuff.. or whatever.. U aren't gonna be the best u can be yia peeps gona get pwned in BWL and NAXX :D

People, i've seen paladins roll on bows high lvl bows so they could get over the fuss they are not good at pulling things, so lets stop saying hunters do roll all, i dont, but this ring is for hunter or rogues mostly,even warriors if there are not hunts or rogues in party all othe categories have other rings.

This is a hunter ring, because hunters get 2 attack power for every one agility. It's quite simple, hunters benefit the most from this ring over any other class. If any other class rolls on this before a hunter, they are retarded.

+2% hit on a ring is crazy. I'd love to get this. Sword rogues, who rely on white dmg, and fury warriors, who are almost nothing but white damage, should go straight for this baby. I dont think I'd ever replace it. Coupled with DJB... I can imagine the pain I'd bring. =P

That's right, I'll definately use my dkp to purchase this ring and I'm a DW DPS warrior.

Why hunter need + to hit? their default miss rate is low enough. + to hit is definately for Dual Wielding, warrior or rogues. And I'd think it's better for warriros since our auto attack also is our source of rage which means more rage to use to get more dps. while rogues only get some slight boost for their auto attack dps. of course I'm not a rogue expert so maybe I missed something here.

So IMO DW warriors then Rogues then Hunters.

It's funny seeing all the warriors/rogues cry that this isn't a hunter ring. Some facts...

Agility is highest hunter stat -> this rings highest stat is agility.

Stamina is second highest hunter stat -> this rings second highest stat is stamina.

Rings like quickstrike/myrdmidons have strength -> hunters lowest stat is strength, and this is why smart hunters pass on these rings for rogues.

Tier 1 hunter set chance to hit: +3%
Tier 1 rogue set chance to hit: +2%

Tier 2 hunter set chance to hit: +2%
Tier 2 rogue set chance to hit: +1%

So, bottomline, yes its good for warriors/rogues/hunters, but every single stat added together is BEST for hunters and all the set stats in the game show this.

Rogues/warriors have quickstrike, get off our accurai, kthxbye.
