Sounds like Sylvanas has been scheming for quite some time!
This was well written. I'm going to continue to enjoy how the story evolves. There was more surprises then I had expected in the story so far. I feel like I can't accurately assume or guess what is to come and I like that.
This whole story is a ridiculously intricate puzzle. I don't want to give them too much credit though. I din't think they've been planning this since all the way back in Cata 9 years ago.
So we're told nobody has ever returned from or left the Maw, only to immediately realize that this "Jailer" was the one who sent Sylvanas back from the Maw and who whispered to Vol'jin to make Sylvanas warchief. Oh, and we can go there and return because we're still alive. Yep, sounds good. Makes sense.
Filling the gap, finally
This, i'm almost sure bwonsamdi's boss is the arbiter
Interesting lore. I wonder if Sylvanas or Azshara are gunning for The Jailor's spot since they probably predict the "heroes" ending him or something
always love prohpecy's that come to life
speculations put to rest, the jailer is not someone we met before
So freaking fired up for Shadowlands. This was a great article and well thought out .
Nice thinking
Love that we got warned about this for a long time ago. :o
I've never read Edge of Night before so that summary was interesting.
That is some serious plot O_o
Very good reminder of all things regarding this topic. Yet more is still yet to come
Great article. I'm glad the Jailer is someone actually new, we will meet some old characters in the Shadowlands so new faces are welcome.
Hoping Shadowlands has a good story, but I'll be going in with low expectations.
I'm inclined to believe that the defeat of Argus caused the machinery of death to shut down. The Titans seem to be avatars of the primary forces of the Universe, and with Argus (death) being removed from independent existence, it would certainly cause a serious problem. Remember that Argus was used by Sargeras to pull the souls of demons from the Twisting Nether directly, powering his infinite armies. Argus was an arbiter of death in his own way.. and I'm interested to see how that plays with the actual Arbiter.
