Take me back to the days when datamining didn't exist, where mystery and wonder were still a thing :(
Part of me wishes their was no datamining, then I realised that this wouldn't be an issue if phase 1 wasn't so long.
TBH... if you tell us "don't watch "Spoiler-Alert" Articels, if you don't want to be spoilered".... It's dumb, since kinda EVERYTHING Datamined from a new Patch IS A SPOILER!I miss the good old times where things were discovered by the players when the Patch gone live... You got the Patchnotes like 1 Week before the patch and that's it... cause PTR wasn't a thing, since Blizz tested everything by themself! Sure, I know the benefits of PTR and the testing of blizz wasn't the best all the time ^^But now we know like nearly anything of a patch like 2 Months before it even goes live and like 2-3 Weeks before there is even a oportunity to test things for yourself on PTR since datamining sometimes even shows things while PTR isn't even live. And tbh: This is one of the reason some players always cry for "there is no new content anymore"... sure you dumb*ss... If you play a Patch 6 Weeks before it even goes live, know everything before this... it's like starting a Race before the Racetrack is even finished and complain that there is no competition since everyone is still on their way to the Race *facepalm*ImO everything that is datamined should be with "Spoiler-Alert"... only things like "People found out how to get hidden Pets" or official Patchnotes and things like this should be normal articels.
They could just encrypt them like blizzard does with any expansion content they want to hide.Everyone knows wowhead has to 'ask' permission from Blizzard before they post any datamined content.
.
i just think its funnier that it took wowhead, what, 10+ years to finally make a static image that says spoiler warning and consistently use it?
