Ah.. .bug-testing the level geometry... must be really fun for those guys.
This is one of the parts about game development that always interest me the most. How they shape the land, and create visually pleasing zones like Azsuna... but it only has two screenshots : /
Agree with other posters that it would've been nice to see this one streamed, especially since there were not huge announcements this year, at least as far as some kind of franchise expansion, or next version.
Aw, this panel was on the Creative stage. I really would have liked to watch it. Man, I wish they filmed those other three stages: VA, Creative, and Community. Even if they didn't stream them, if they just recorded them for later viewing on the Virtual Ticket, I'd love that because there were so many good panels we don't get to see because they just didn't film them.
For the amount that the Virtual Ticket costs, I'm quite surprised they didn't stream more. I quite enjoyed what they had available, but I agree with many others that panels like this would have been great to see.
Panels looks good, now I need to find only time to watch them.
Mountains are nice but sometimes in really annoying when you die and need to run from far away or can't find the way to your corpse...
It's interesting how they use shadows to guide players.
Aah, the Westfall lighthouse. That place was neat. The ghost pirate guy there was super cool too!
Very interesting!
I can only say, WoW!. Back then when I first steped into Ashenvale back in Vanilla it felt magical to realistic at that time but then the Moonglade blowed up my mind. Ever since then every single expansion has that amasing-zone its unforgettable. In BC was the Zangarmarsh with its alien like feeling. Then Grizzly Hills with its relaxing theme in the middle of the heart of Despair. Vashj'ir in cataclysm was unexpected in every way, Loved the underwater theme and how deeper we went as the story progressed. Isle of Thunder felt much more dark an epic than SoO. Draenor had Shadowmoon not a fel like rock but an actualy living place. As for legion Suramar is breath taking!. Their realistic approach is one of the things I enjoy is their zones and I know they are going to do an excellent for Argus
Well I am not really into technical stuff but I really love the improvements on the depth. Especially when I head toward Ulduar it is just amazing !
Great Information - They do take such care in what they do.
so much work so much detail. The design team really came together on this.....sniff thanks guys!
That's dope.
Very cool!
I was done with Levelling when Pre expansion invasions... I dont wanna do levelling again :(
it says ely sanders in the last one
Hee, they still call 'em doodads? I remember in Vanilla, right when you exit the Tram on the Ironforge side, you could mouseover the mailbox there and it'd say doodad_gnomish_mailbox or something similar, and the signpost in the Trade District of Stormwind was always a favorite, because it spelled it as griffin in Griffin Roost while every other spot in the game called them gryphons, but every once in a while it'd just be called doodad_153 or something. Woof, hearing the rest of that makes me feel bad that I've stopped reporting where I get stuck. In my defense, I see walls as a challenge that must be jumped up.
It is always fascinating finding out where the designers heads are at. I am glad that they are creating more little cubby holes of interesting things.Just wish they would fix the potholes that I keep stepping into (>_<)
