So it's okay if pets benefit from scrolls, class buffs, ect. But World Buffs? NahBlizzard Logic is dumb.
I suppose this also nerfs the Mechanical Greench too?
Yes Hunter pets are OP in PvP, so fix them in PvP, don't screw over PvE Hunters as well. The damage difference was massive in the raid.
The worst thing about this is that the double dipping they refer to accounts for single digit attack power for hunter pets so instead of fixing that double dipping they remove it entirely? They could also redistribute the damage by removing it from pets but making the buff give more ranged ap like they did for casters getting sp but this change is just lazy and incompetent at best.
Like Hunters and Warlocks can "doble dip" from Pala, Warrior, Druid etc. buffs but not from the world buffs.YAHN! At this point it is getting absurd.Hunters are no longer on the top of the meters. Why would you apply yet another nerf.Now in the raid my pet lands so many misses its insane
People complaining in here are out of touch.Hunters are PvPing by placing themselves in a remote location out of harms way and chaincasting Eyes of the Beast to just fight with their pets who can be talented into permanent 30 % movement speed and Lightning Breath consistently hits for 250 with crits above 400.My prebis Hunter is more potent than my fullbis Ret Paladin.
A nerf to hunters (3rd rank DPS), and Warlocks (6th place) all while rogues/warriors are #1/2, and what classes scale poorly at higher lvls? Warlocks and Hunters. This makes no sense, and feels like some dev who has full green-gear and never raided before in his life got owned by a pet in the open world and now is changing the game again. ANY PET CLASS already inherently gets *LESS* of a worldbuff than everyone else, now we are double dipping into mediocrity. For anyone who is confused at that statement. A warrior gets to use 100% of a worldbuff to help his/her damage profile. A Mage gets to use 100% of a worldbuff to help his/her damage profile. If a hunter pet does 30% of their damage, and a warlock pet does 25% of their damage, well the worldbuff now only applies to 70% and 75% of their toolkit, respectively. They are ALREADY WEAKER WITH THE BUFF EXISTING, there is no reason to nerf them further. If anything they should implement a change to all pet classes that all world-buffs also increase their pets stats, without having to worry about flightpaths and travel route to the raid to try to keep their buff active.

I guess I never noticed my pet having it in the first place but it's absolutely hilarious knowing how certain things were a struggle while my pet was apparently unintentionally buffed. I hate being all doom and gloom but you're really starting to turn this casual time killer that you did such a great job at in the beginning to a waste of time. I guess Blizzard will !@#$ anything up if you just give them time.
