knew starsurge was gonna get nerfed the day I got my level 10 druid summoned to wetlands for the rune, druid was my 3rd alt and it felt the best ive ever had leveling 1-25 out of all the classes ive tried.

Time to play retail since there is pvp separated from pve. And what is most fun facts even if pvp is not main content of wow staff do all to make pvp andies pleased. Boomkin was never top dps with non nerfed starsurge but now will be in the ground.

I told my friends on Saturday that there definently would come a Starsurge nerf.i was lvl 31 and %^&* on lvl 40 players xDbut i still think this is overkill.remove the 42% buff from spellpower and thats it.The problem is that Blizzard does this everytime..Instead of Nerfing it one try at a time, they just completely $%^& the spell down the drain and its gone..and i agree with what the others are saying, i havent had the chance to play on 40 yet.. but if it crits 600-700 on lvl 40 with decent gear you can just forget playing boomie in pvp..druids are not suppose to stand and #$%^ing hard cast Starfire in pvp, makes no sense when all meele's pushback on you makes you drop to 20% hp before getting a single starfire off..What a shame.. could be so fun! time to set an example and lvl a hunter just for the #$%^s of it.

Dear Blizzard,Probably when you did that nerf to Balance druid, you missed that we had already had serious issues to getting into groups as boomkin, since 'fortunately' SoD dungeons turned into retail-like braindead cleave fests and druid has no good aoe at all at the moment, and now you literally achieved that probably we would never find a group to play with in this phase. Now that our single target dps is nerfed quite hard too.Nourish fix is ok, but we still can't get the rune at all on pvp servers (since flying fails the quest). Maybe that's the same priority in my eyes.You push us to use spells with cast time more frequently, but eclipse 70% pushback reduction doesn't even work. Maybe fix that instead of just nerfing the main spell, and leave the bugs in the game.Blizzard, you should have just changed the pvp aspect of Starsurge. Which could be fine for me, I could live with that, even if I can mention other broken stuff like warlock killing from 100 to 0 in 1 single fear duration without fear being interrupted by dmg, etc...But I wouldn't care about this, classes/specs have nemesis, fine. But you shouldn't have ruined the pve so much and made it nearly impossible to be able take part in group content from now.
35% base reduction AND spell power benefit reduction? Could have removed Starsurge all together tbh, no point of using it in pvp anymore anyways. While you cast that Starfire, any melee can kill three boomkins in that time.
I'm amazed that druids are actually defending starsurge it was completely busted broken out of line spell there's no doubt about that$%^& was critting for 1.3k instant cast on 36yds range...like...what ? that's hitting harder than a 2.5s chaos bolt which is arguebly the strongest casted projectile in the game which has a massive 14 second cooldown so you guys got to walk around pressing 1 button to kill a player and you cry when that's taken away from u ?

It's insane the number of whiny boomy we find in the comments. They are all pathological liars saying that their class is now unplayable and that it was finally balanced...The reality is they were deleting ANYONE with an instant spell on a 6 second cooldown with long range. They were doing up to 1.6k dmg with starsurge.WAKE UP, you guys are playing an hybrid spec. You have ^&*!ton of healing, kiting with travel forms, roots, debuffs. You should never be doing more damage or even as much as a standard dps class.I'm not even sure this nerf will be enough to make them non oppressive in pvp and I really hope we get some news regarding shadow word death, lava burst and hunter dmg nerf.
If you want druids casting Starfire, fix Eclipse pushback protection and make the buff larger, 66% doesn't do anything considering Starfire doesn't get eclipse crit and dreamstate dmg bonuses, so it hits less then a Wrath crit and never crits itself, meaning it's still not worth casting for damage.Also why the hell did you make the buff animation the same as Starsurge? Now every time you cast it in PvP, it instantly reveals your position...Blizzard can either nerf stuff to the ground or make it OP, nothing in between.
