I feel like I'm missing a lot of context, and hope some of the changes are due to them "baking in" the most popular choices into the specs.
Bloodworms are back <3 YAAAAY
Some of these new warlock talents look quite awesome. Can't wait to test them out myself, if I get into beta obviously.
Shaman looks realy interesting but some spells are not clearly understandable... but it's Beta so everything will be changed soon
Oh so they do keep the Claws of Shirvallah? Niiice
Are they seriously removing the fun part of Grimoire of Supremacy while keeping it as a boring passive damage increase? I mean, it's not your everyday nerf, someone must really hate warlocks to do something like this.
'Major glyphs are removed' along with thousand spents on glyphs for my toons..
I can't belive Hammer of wrath is back! After all my posts and people help we have managed to change their minds! Funny how exorcism wasn't on the removed list yet not mentioned atall anywhere else... Guess we will wait and see.
So we are loosing all personal and party buffs? Well as at least we don't have to worry about remembering to use them after the wipes, which judging from the changes and Blizzard's knack of making bosses more and more difficult with more phases and lots more mobs on the side, is going to happen a lot. I was hyped for legion, now I'm very concerned.
blizzard goes on and on about how a fury warrior "could be a grizzled war veteran, hulking barbarian, or shinging knight with two swords" and how they "want to include all of these into the warrior fantasy to let you roleplay what you want to be, not what we tell you to be" and then they force every outlaw rogue to be a damn pirate with no chance at all of variation, a ghost ship cooldown and a finisher to roll dice of fate? parley ffs? the whole class is now pirates vs ninjas with one real warcraft rogue sitting in between going "what the hell is going on here". still atleast the ninja aspect isn't forced, not like the pirate one is so stereotypically. ill still play sub but outlaw just annoys me now :/
Ok two things:1. Sentry tower for survival hunters sounds like the new searing totem (ofc it can have cd and can look awesome - I mean possible race specific models... dreaming).2. Best possible combo which won't be available: Surrender to Madness + Guardian Spirit (I know they are from 2 different spec but you can have 2 priests).
Well like somebody else already mentioned this is the complete end of the shadow priest class. Not only are they removing devouring plague, one of the most used rotation spells, they are also nerfing mind spike and going back to the old SW:P and VT DoT style. On top of that we lose all healing spells, which get replaced by a spell that damages yourself overtime (how can this be called healing?). Sure there is a talent that removes that effect but it will probably also lower your overall dps because its not letting you choose a vital other spell. And my single most used spell is now holy and disc only: levitate. Why on earth did this have to be removed? I tell you why: it uses mana! And shadow priest don't have mana anymore, they have some stupid insanity thing that never fills up completely without draining again. All the other classes have fullbar bonus but the shadow priest get a transformation that will last 20 seconds at best.If Blizzard decides with this, and they probably already have, I doubt many if not any shadow priests will remain ingame. The people playing them will either reroll disc (I won't, I dislike the not good in anything spec it is) or stop playing their priest all together. So if you still want to go shadow priest and consider using your instant 100 for it: don't do it! Save it for the demon hunter class, that will probably be overpowered and to the looks of it more like what the old shadow priest used to be.
It seems that fury warrior will have some nice DPS XD
Oh well no more Shadowstep for rogues also means no more escaping danger thanks to an ally (or foe) passing nearby... :<Sad rogue is sad about this.By the way I'd never wanted to become a pirate as an Outlaw, i'd have prefered if this spec'd stayed in the "adventurer outlaw guy with many tricks in his pocket" mode rather than being forced to roll dices and use ghost ships -_-But seems we don't have the choice of our "fantasy" at least. Pirates vs ninjas vs bad men with poisons. Yay. Warrior, here I come.
After reading all this it seems they want to eliminate possibilities to soloing this game - even fighting the usual content you would need a group - no self-healing, nor dispells-likes, nor other beneficial spells (like levitate) anymore (those are removed from dps specs now) unless you are a healer spec means exactly that you need a healer in group to fight enemies, and healers will need damage dealers to fight. Unless you are fighting content few levels below you, of course. That is a bad move, I think, not everyone wants to always be in group, and that also makes all classes too much similar, just casts have different names, but why have different classes now at all if they are too much similar, nothing is unique?P.S. If that will come live then the most possible I will not get next expansion, leave the game finally, it becomes worse and worse, not like when TBC came.P.P.S. Although I see a reason for changes - they want more tanks in game so they nerf damage dealers a lot to force everyone to become tanks or healers to be able to fight content solo.
Invoke Celestials....Touch of Death whenever.....UPPERCUT!Still cautiously optimistic but so far these Monk changes are pretty awesome. :DDDDD
About rogues: Outlaw: seems like a cool specc with new abilities although I personally really dislike summoning a ghost ship. I mean we are rogues not magicians! Besides that I think I'll be playing that instead of subtlety which seems to be ruined.Assasination: I never really liked this specc, and it seems like it will remain the same. although the whole poison thing being exclusive to assassination(which alot of rogues disagree with)Subtlety: Seems to be totally ruined D: , bleeds gone, shadowstep removed(probably), shadowdance being a passive now. Subtlety used to be about setting up and using shadow dance at the right moment, which they seem to be moving away from. I do like they are weaving more stealth into the game play but the shadow dance thing really dissapoints me personally. I guess it will be wait and see how it all plays out in the Beta D;.
