I'm a little disappointed it's not like Isle of Quel'Danas or Thunder; I quite liked the idea of unlocking areas on the island over time to expand our safe areas and progress the story. This system looks alright, though.
Also, people mentioned "server based" worries... no. It is REGION-based... as in US, EU, etc. The whole of the playerbase for each region contributes to the building unlocks daily. Both factions contribute to the same total as well, not faction-specific, as the Armies of Legionfall is a joint effort of all class orders to put aside the petty behaviour the Alliance and Horde let continue to dominate their views and shattered their efforts the last time on the Broken Shore. All this is right in the first bullet-point in the article:The building turnins will be a cross-faction and region effort, and progress on all three will be made concurrently.
Nice, WoD all over again.
Few more updates:-Multiple buildings can be active at once-When the building is under attack, there's an alert on your Broken Shore minimap to help it out-Some, but not all functionality of the building is disabled. It looks like we still get some buffs, but the building under attack is empty and burning inside.
Mage tower looks best early on because of the rep buff you can get. Nether Disruptor is 100% useless if you're allready geared, so probably weakest option.
Does the 3 day timer start from when the region finishes the building or from when my character clicks the scroll to complete it? Basically can I hold off on completing it and then start the 3 days to start on Friday after work and have it up when I'm on over the weekend, or do I just have to make do and try and get as much done during the week? Thanks in advance
When buildings are under attack, is how does one help? Is it just kill the nearby mobs, or is there a way to take on the ship? I didn't see any talk on that.
I have wasted so much time on this option only to watch them get destroyed because only two can be up at same time or something... seems a bit counter productive if you only play a little bit.
