So annoyed by this change. Being a tank should be about making defensive choices in talents now it's back to pure throughout DPS builds and yell at healers to simply heal more
Wish the Devs would at least come out and try to defend the choice they made like they have done for many other class changes in SoD
I honestly think this is a good thing because demonology is an incredibly boring spec to play and tanking as affliction is the most overpowered and enjoyable for me.
If they wanted to nerf PvP only, this change should be "30% monster damage reduction (doesn't work for damage taken from other players)." I guess the damage source is flagged somehow in the code, so what's the problem with such an approach? Many skills or talents are rather PvP-oriented only, like Deep Freeze or Silence, etc., so why can't they create a purely PvE-oriented one? Also don't forget about dmg buff in soul link
There is a difference in keeping pvp and pve spells seperated in classic and retail. Retail you have Warmode and bgs/arena where its a more pvp based gameplay. Yes it is still pve included only that you have extra spells in those areas to begin with. We dont have that on classic where pve and pvp are like REALLY close to each other. That is why, dont me wrong i understand both sides, its harder to balance as on retail.

this is the worst change I see. Not only we lose 30% dr but also 3% damage boost.Instead of disabling talent, why not change it. reduce dr to 5 or 10%What is the dev leaders even thinking.
