Decent survey, but it really needs some serious proofreading. Tons of grammatical, spelling, and syntax errors - especially toward the end of the questionnaire. Also lmfao that game preview looks like garbage. It's literally copying the smart kids' homework without changing a single thing to make it look unique.P.S. Aren't you legally required to disclose your ties to Tencent, and their stake in Tarisland?
Man the number of questions that need a "I'm not interested in mobile games" option that don't have one is yikes. Also what is up with that preview video? It looks like garbage... low resolution, no fps... not a good look when you're trying to advertise a new game.
I have a feeling the Wowhead lawyers were not told about this - legally in the US you have to reveal ties to Tencent since they are owned by the Chinese government, and besides this "game" looks like nothing more than a standard issue Chinese ripoff of a Blizzard product.
Guess I didnt meet the requirements.
Watoux etc !
Hope you guys made a lot of money from this, but ima be honest the game looks like ass.I'm not a big graphics guy and I generally prefer a stylized graphics style over realism, however that game simply looks very very bad.My first thoughts when I watched the video were "mobile pay to win shovelware".The survey also didn't ask for my name so f me I guess.
WoWHead staff and article writers - why do you NEVER add in the title of these posts that the event is region locked? The info is the official rules. However, it it common sense to add such information in your post too, since the majority of people will only click the Survey URL and not even bother to read the rules.
WoWhead... This is a low move, and you know it
Maybe you should read your own rules and mention this is region locked. Garbage survey for a garbage site i guess...
"Ah, wise-smart American. Please put your email inuru, so we can sell your information to highest bidder. Come play Chinese WOW clone NUMBAH ONE. CCP promises they will only spy on your bank info, giving poor results on survey will result in drop of social credit score. Very bad!"
I love that my comment about all the critical comments being deleted was deleted for trolling. No, being critical of your article is not trolling. Get over yourself. As others have pointed out, you're making a risky move not disclosing who your "partner" is. This is a data collection scheme, and a really gross and deceptive one.If you do not at least provide a means to filter out scams like this from the news feed, you will end up driving users away, especially if your response to negative feedback on articles like this is to delete comments (as I predicted you would).Disclose who your partner is and your relation to them, as you're required to do and/or ethically obligated to do, provide a means for users to filter out things like this, and stop deleting comments just because you're getting roasted.
This survey definitely needs more proofreading. Seeing words like "grafics" and the answer "How likely" I'd rate in-game systems
Fanbyte owns Wowhead. Tencent owns Fanbyte. LevelInfinite that makes Tarisland (the MMO this survey is about) is owned by Tencent. This is not disclosed but it's absolutely the sole reason for this survey to show up here. Not to mention that the survey is US only but STILL DOESN'T STOP YOU FROM FILLING IT. The "prize" is for 10 people.Amazing. Do you want to spit in my mouth as well? I had no idea Wowhead had fallen so deep into the outhouse hole, but I suppose that's what happens when you're owned by cynical venture capitalists who only want to use your website to dredge for ad revenue. What better to use for ad revenue than owning lots of wiki's and guides for different games that require them? So many clicks!
Why would not put this is a USA only competition Wowhead in the article?Absolutely scum move. Wowhead off to an awful start of the year.
I played Wow for 18 years but quit like eight months ago to wait for the new xpac so right now I am playing cruddy phone games.Apparently that does not qualify me to enter. LOL
Man, those questions were...pathetic. And it's clear we're not dealing with a US "sponsor" for this one because the spelling is literally that of someone that doesn't know English ("grafic"? Really?). For a US-only sweepstakes, having us effectively review a Chinese game is pretty offputting, and I really expected better of WoWhead. I don't know who set this partnership up, but they need some serious training on their target audience, because the majority of the content in this survey is not geared toward a western/US audience.
I DON'T LIKE MOBILE GAMES. is how i answered the questions.
well, i learned my lesson, take no more surveys from this website.
