You know all these rumors about Nerubians busting into the Tournament?

I think there may be some truth to it. The last boss of the Tournment is just referred to as "Final Boss", obviously Blizzard wants to hide the identity of a lore character. Also, one of the achievements references impaling scrabs... now who releases scrabs, and then tries to impale you? Anub'arak. I got a feeling he's doing to rain on our parade and set things up for the final WOTLK raid.

Its possible. Good catch though. Would be interesting to see a Nerubian invade the Argent Tournament.
The question is; why would they?

Not all of us knew there are achievements posted somewhere other than the PTR ingame :)
Here's the reference:
The Traitor King (10 player)
Kill 12,000 Swarm Scarabs with spikes in 10-player mode.
The Traitor King is one of the titles of Anub'Arak, which many people were displeased to see as a mere 5-man boss... so I wouldn't be surprised to see him back.

One possible scenario could be this:
You enter the room, you see the final boss. (whatever it is)
You engage the boss. 10 seconds into the encounter, you hear a yell from an argent tournament guy about an attack.
Nerubians then break through the wall and attack the final boss and the raid. Assuming the final boss is an argent champion dude, he turns friendly and helps you drive off the nerubians.
If he isnt, and is a beast thing, you still try to DPS him down while holding off the nerubians. 2 minutes into the nerubian swarm, someone like anub'arak would burst in through the hole made from the nerubians and finish off the boss with an impalement.
I'm too tired to think of anything more, but thats what might happen.

Well, one of the achievements (like you said) is to kill scarabs. And the name of the achievement name is called "The Traitor King", which means Anub'arak.
Also, I remember somewhere that Blizzard said that they wanted to do more with Anub'arak, because he was such a big and powerful figure in Warcraft lore.
Now, if nerubians break into the Tournament, I don't know. Possibly situation could include that they (Argent Crusade) got ahold of Anub'arak's dead(?) corpse, then he came back somehow.
Or maybe they literally come out of the floor and fight you on the last boss(es). I don't know, I doubt anyone but Blizzard knows.
ALERT! OLD JOKE INCOMING!
Azjol-Nerub was merely a setback...
Now go ahead and flame me :<

Oh yeah, good catch with The Traitor King thing. That pretty much locks it in for sure.

That's what I was thinking.
"Don't look so smug! I know what you're thinking, but Azjol-Nerub was merely a set back. Did you honestly believe I would trust the future to some rotting spider people? Hahahaha... Oh no, no, no, they were merely an instrument, a stepping stone to a much larger plan! It has all led to this...and this time, you will not interfere!"

Confirmed, they just discovered through datamining that there's a cavern underneath the raid dungeon, and that the floor of the arena is destructible.... lol. Guess those rumors had some merit.
