Armoury link if possible?
Hard to really give advise without seeing gear/stats.
Also, why 2 points in Efficiency and 1 in Rapid Recup? No points in Rapid Fire either?
Rapid Fire with 2 points, brings it down to a 3 minute CD. Readiness has a CD of 3 minutes. Think about it. Your just gimping yourself.
Try something like
this

Well, in short, you will hit more Rapid fires yes.
Think of it this way, if your RF is on a 3 min CD, it will come off CD by itself slightly after Readiness does. You should wait the couple of seconds it takes for RF to come off CD by itself, pop it, then use Readiness again, and pop RF again. Thus increasing your RF gains.
Also, you are WAAAAAAAY over the hit cap. If you have some gear that you can swap out, that increases other stats but reduces hit rating, I would say do it. You will find more of a benefit from this then anything else really.

You probably want to consider picking up silencing shot, simply because it is off the global cooldown and does contribute some damage. Also I've been surprised at how many interrupts it contributes to, unintentionally, on fights such as KT.

I think you sould go for Improved Barrage instead of Go for the Throat. If you go MM your pet will do low dmg so 12% crit chance on a good shot which is used many times and an imba aoe which cant be interrupted is better.
You could try that one
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#cxZ0eAcRhzGIsguAox:afiMmz
Your name suits you;
Pets have a 1.25 second GCD. in 40 seconds, a wolf will do 40/1.25 = 32 specials. 1 furious howl, and 31 claws. A wolf using those specials will go through 1(20) + 31(25) = 795 focus every 40 seconds, or 19.875 focus per second. Without any talents, a wolf will regenerate 6 focus per second.
19.875 - 6 = 13.875 focus per second needed to cap. A 13.875 focus deficit over those 40 seconds results in 13.875(40) = 555 focus short, which translates into 555/25 = 22.2 claws. Taking the numbers from a MM hunter spreadsheet shows that each claw on average is about 450 damage. So over 40 seconds, we lost 22.2(450) = 9990 damage, or 9990/40 = 249.75 dps.
Now the hunter took 1 point in GftT, and let's say this hunter only crits once every 2 seconds. Over those 40 seconds the hunter would crit 20 times, regenerating 500 focus. However, some of this focus is wasted since the pet was at full focus, so we will take off a bit and knock it down to 460 focus. 460/40 = 11.5 focus per second. 13.875 - 11.5 = 2.375 focus deficit. 2.375(40) = 95 focus short after 40 seconds. 95/25 = 3.8 claws. 3.8(450) = 1710, 1710/40 = 42.75 dps from not capping.
Now, take the number in the original from no focus regen abilities(249.75) and subtract the number from having 1/2 GftT(42.75). 249.75 - 42.75 = 207. The hunter in this example gained 207 dps by putting 1 point into GftT.

You cant compare it with more crits on aimed shot.A critical aimed shot does around 3k more dmg than a normal aimed shot.So if you crit 12 times more every 1000 secs that makes 12X3k=260k more dmg per 1000 secs which makes 260 dps
12*3000/1000= 36, which isn't quite an accurate representation of Improved Barrage. Add in another 10dps from piercing shots and it still isn't worth it, in your skewered example.

As of 3.2, this is intentional.
EDIT: Spelling.
What I meant was while using silencing shot as a slight buffer to my damage I also, unintentionally, contributed to interrupts.
