I've recently hit 80 on my pally and ive been thinking of going holy again since i was in TBC.
the one thing im curious about is these new spells Beacon of Light and Sacred Shield, i had stopped healing before they were released and im not too sure what to think of them.
do you keep the shield up all the time or just when you feel you need it?
and is Beacon of Light just kept for when your going to do a lot of group/raid healing or when two tanks are taking a lot of damage to help the other one out or is there another use?

You got the two main uses for beacon there. Basically beacon one tank and keep it up. SS is good to keep on the tank at all times unless you can't afford to use the GCD. It's cheap and it absorbs a small amount of damage, not to mention the increased chance for FoL crits.

If you cast it right after the tank pulls, you can pull aggro off the tank.
Absolutly. Generates a ton of aggro. Cast both, and the guy comes for you. Blame the DPSs from the safety of your bubble.
Too bad most people have threat meters nowadays...
That's why you bubble. You drop right off of Omen when bubble goes up. You get all your threat back by the time it's gone but by that point either the tank has so much aggro no one notices you pulled or it's a wipe anyways. Remember the golden rule: It's always the DPS's fault, even when it isn't.
