Mage/rogue vs. restodruid/dk

Lately me and my resto druid partner have been coming into alot of mage/rogue teams. We are in a few pieces of hateful and the rest made up of the blue crafted set, both of us sitting around 600+ resil. We are around the 1300 bracket and cant seem to beat this combo. My druid friend just seems to die way too fast, as I am CC'd nearly the whole fight.
Usually this is how we start out:
I charge in first planting a DnD on where we are heading in attempt to pop the rogue out of stealth
My partner goes in stealthed and after DnD wears off he shifts to tree form and pre-hots himself.
Now I'm sap'd by the rogue usually. I avoid trinketing it unless necesary, because the mage will usually just poly me.
When i manage to escape the CC now i attempt to Hungering Cold to buy the druid some time to get away.
Rogue trinkets/cloaks, I'm blinded and the druid dies.
Can anyone give me some tips/hints on how to beat this combo. Or is it just a gear issue

it just a gear issue
Yeah it is a
skill
and gear issue. Your comp should not lose to mage-rogue, infact it counters it rather heavily. Grind out the full epic set then try again. WIth skills such as lichborn, and the fact that druids are completely immune to polymorphs, you should not be losing to this comp. The druid needs at least 800 resilence and 21k stamina to effectively weather damage in arena, so grind your hateful gear.
As for dealing with stealth: Most rogues are not stupid, they will not get hit by DnD.
What I would do is this: Spread out at least 25 yards apart. This comp has to sap the deathknight, because half of it's CC (polymorph) does not work on druids. Once the deathknight gets sapped, the druid should run in the opposite direction
while
trying to LoS the mage. If done properly, the rogue will have reached the druid by the time the sap has worn off.
At this point the deathknight should: Attempt to interrupt the mage who will be trying to polymorph, trinketing this polymorph if it has to, and then using strangulate on the mage.
Immediately
after strangulating the mage, the deathknight should deathgrip the rogue off the druid, and cast chains of ice or hungering cold (if you have the runic power) on it. The rogue still has blind, so be prepared for that, trying to not use your trinket on the polymorph would solve that CC issue though.
After the blind CC is used, the comp has effectively no CC (and a rogue that nearly killed itself on thorns) so just prevent them from reseting the fight. Concentrate on killing the mage, it provides more CC and can almost completely heal itself with evocation if you are not careful.
Follow this and you should have no issues and enjoy facing this comp (free win).

Looks like a gear issue to me. Granted, mage/rogue is a rough comp, but if you can get into combat and stay in combat, they already lost.
Until the rogue shows, your druid needs to keep a 3 stack of LB up with a minimum of rejuve on top of that. It's not a long fight, so refresh it early. Like, half duration early. If you wait till 1-2 seconds, the rogue will open right before the druid refreshes his HoT's.
Your druid wants to try to save his trinket for Deep Freeze. Rogues stunlock isn't as dangerous as deep freeze with full MI and elemental up.
You want to watch the mage's cast bar and try to LB the first poly cast after the rogue opens and Shield the first shatter combo the mage tries on you. You need to cast the shield right at the end of the Frost Bolt cast, so it wastes his time and mana by not being able to stop cast it. You need to do this before it ends as well so he hopefully wastes his Deep Freeze cast on you as well while you are immune to spell.
