Tailoring or Alchemy?

I'm in a predicament.
I've had tailoring/enchanting forever, and now, I'm not seeing the value of tailoring anymore. I'm more into pvp now, and less into pve, but I still pve occasionally.
Aside from cheap pant embroiders, tailoring offers me two great things: Nets, and lightweave.
Lightweave is great for bg's, that extra burst, but it procs off of the wrong moments, and the ICD makes it ineffective.
Nets are amazing, but I can't use them in arena, something which I like to do often now.
Alchemy offers loads of money, procs, extended flask times, endless potion.
Money isn't an issue.
Procs isn't an issue.
Extended flask times and effects are quite nice for raiding, and pvp, although I don't know if I can use it in arena.
Endless potion is an extra heal, but not usable in arena anymore, so it's like nets to me.
Money isn't an issue, and I cannot decide whether to drop tailoring for alchemy, so I figured someone else had the same problem, and they came up with an answer that could help.
I'm starting to lean towards alchemy at the moment, but the thought of living without nets is making me reconsider, it helps me in BG's which I just stand behind people and nuke, and I've learned to live without it in arena.
Plus, the dps bonuses are practically the same, so it's mostly just usefulness.
What do you guys think/suggest?

Lightweave is a PvE enchant (as are most "Chance on Hit" procs). The fact that you can't choose when its going to be up ruins you.
On the topic of endless healing potions, they are useless for warlocks ATM. They SHARE a CD with Healthstones, and heal for less than the healthstones do.
Right now, both professions (tailoring and alchemy) are useless for PvP. Tailoring offers a higher DPS bonus in PvE. Alchemy has more profit potential. Take your pick.

Alchemy honestly sucks as a moneymaker, as does pretty much every other crafting skill. If you want to optimize your character for PvP, you'll have another alt as your money maker and maximize your character with 2 crafting skills, as people have said, JC, Tailoring, Enchanting, Engineering etc are all viable choices with positives and negatives. Alchemy is pretty crap for PvP.

For PvP, we don't talk about proc uptimes though, or what it equals out in the long run. Arena matches are short; if Lightweave procs when you are in your starting zone creating healthstones, you effectively LOSE the proc for most of the fight. This equals ZERO DPS which makes it a dps LOSS because you didn't enchant your cloak with Spell pen.
If Lightweave were "on use", it would have some use in PvP... Unfortunately, it does not and is not. It is an incredible, INCREDIBLE enchant for PvE though =)

No they don't, they share regular pots CD.

Now it's making me reconsider.
Enchanting is something that I like for pvp and pve, so I'm keeping it.
I have JC on my pally, so I'm a bit reluctant to get it on my warlock, but then again, the stam gems are really good for pvp, and the gems are good for pve, so....
Other than alchemy, what do you guys think would benefit me most for pvp/pve? (dropping tailoring of course)

Depends if you want more utility or just to push your stats as high as they can go. You can benefit from Enchanting or Inscription for stat bonuses, or go Engineering to give you more options like Parachute Cloaks, Speed Boots, Rocket Gloves, Lightning Generator for more burst not on a global cooldown etc. There's no clearcut "best" it depends more on what you are looking for.

Engineering seems really nifty because of the gadgets, but since nets aren't useable in arena, the endless potions aren't either, and I assume other goodies from professions aren't useable, my money is on that enginering gadgets such as the rocket boots will not be useable in arena soon. As for the generator, I'm about to buy the death card, which is just as much (or more) burst, and it gives crit, so that's always nice.
I think at the moment I might just want to push my stats, so inscription and JC are looking good.
I guess for clear cut best, I'm looking for arena wise.
