Me and my partner for 2's are having a lot of trouble in 2's all of a sudden. We steamrolled up to the 1300's with a 75% win ratio, but all of a sudden we can't break 1.4k rating. We keep getting into fights with combinations of Druid/Dk, Paly/Druid, and even a Paly/Paly team which just destroyed us. We've gotten to 1390 and dropped back to 1310, and we just can't top it. In frustration we even started a new team thinking a blank slate would help (Terrible terrible decision btw) and we're having trouble in the beginning ratings and still running into the same team combinations. I truly have come to wits end about what were doing wrong, I can't figure it out. Were both fairly geared, I'd link armory but it hasn't refreshed yet and has me marked down as a spec I tested. All in all I'm looking for even a tiny but of advice from others running this same combination. Generally we'll open up and sap the healer unless its a druid, and dps the other person, and then blind/repentance when thats up.

You cant CC a ret paladin as rogue/ret, divine sacrifice / hand of sacrifice / trinket / bubble will make quick work of you.
Also you can't repentance a druid, he will press tree form to come out of stealth 90% of the times.
And with the paladin un-ccable due to the reasons above, all he has to do is HoP his healer and toast your rogue.
Also remember paladins can cast HoF removing stun off his healer even when disoriented (sap/repetance, dont know about blind, i always trinket that one lol).
The only way you are ever gonna win to paladin team is focusing on ret paladin all the time, make him bubble, bubble yourself when he does, use HoP on rogue and make him restealth and reopen when both bubbles are off.
At this point you can just full nuke the ret paladin, the healer just wont be able to keep him up.
#showtooltip Flash of Light
/cast Flash of Light
Should FoL any 1st guy on your party, wich is always your partner in 2v2.
Useful if you play with more then 1 people.

Open on druid to get him to use barkskin and get the paladin to blow freedom on the druid, then blind druid and focus the paladin when he blows barkskin and the paladin is on DS or BoS. Use paladin stuns on the paladin(other than CS) and use rogue stuns on the druid.
Ret needs to use all his AoW procs to keep the rogue up, and make sure the rogue blows CoS when the ret is incoming as he will want to HoJ the rogue to get full burst on him.
Once barkskin is off, re open the druid and pop repentance/HoJ on the paladin while freedom is still on CD. /win. If he HoP's the druid, you'll have to bubble/heal and try to get the paladin out of combat so the rogue can sap him. Try to repent/blind the ret when he doesn't have DS or BoS up.
Just remember, sometimes a kite/resap/open can make the game.
If he pops DS early to try to open the ret, just sap him and wait. Seperating the druid from his paladin while the druid is trying to kite is always good. If you switch and burst quick enough, you can possibly blow the druid up in 20-30 seconds before HoF is back up. If you do this, they have to quickly use the correct spells or they die. If they screw it up and you pressure them enough, someone dies.
Also, remember, Gouge isn't removed by HoF. This fight usually isn't won on brute force. You will have to get them to blow all their cooldowns and do some kiting to save your cooldowns. If you see HoF and barkskin on the druid and a DS(which will happen), stop dps and gouge druid/HoJ the ret and kite out of combat. Restealth/ sap the druid and burst the ret, this allows you full DR and forces both of them to blow cooldowns. After this burst you can blind the paladin if he hasn't bubbled already, otherwise focus the druid until HoS is up, and do the same. At this point you have the advantage and you can vanish and open on the ret for the stuns/poisons/burst, and kite to restealth. They should be near if not fully out of CD's, then sap the ret and finish the druid off.
If you out play them, you can totally win. It's a matter of not letting them get burst down on the rogue and staying in control for the whole fight. If the rogue keeps from getting burst by the ret, you win. Take advantage of gouge/blind/repentance to throw FoL's on the rogue and yourself if you can.
