I usually pull approximately 1k-1.2k dps in dungeons with my hunter, and I hardly ever use rapid fire except on boss fights, huge pulls, or those classic OH SH!T moments. Same thing with readiness. And I usually use readiness right after I take my first Kill Shot, because I have this thing for big numbers and killing blows. So I like to get off 2 Kill Shots.
Now I realize that this is a highly inefficient use of readiness from a pure dps perspective, and so I am asking: How exactly
should I use readiness and rapid fire in my rotation? All the time? Only under certain circumstances? I know there is a better way than how I am now.
I have my priority down pat, HM-->Serpent Sting, KS>CS>Arcane>Aimed>SS, and I have the CS and Aimed glyphs.
My hunter's armory is in my sig, you can check his talents also if something needs changed, I have put the last 2 points I got into Focused Aim, because I used to be at about 5% hit, but hit rating evaporated from all my gear, and attack power appeared instead.
This link will take you to the handy new Wowhead profiler page for him, if it works for you. Still a bit glitchy at times for me.
Anyway, yeah, specific suggestions about using rapid fire and readiness are requested, and all feedback on gear, spec, etc is welcome.
Thanks.
EDIT: I just changed my sig to link to the profiler, but it doesn't seem to want to update, so idk what the deal is. Like I said, it's a bit glitchy for me. Whatever, I hope it works for you guys.
