AoE Frost leveling

I've never ever used AoE leveling as a frost mage, as you'll know if you read my other posts, and i'm curious as to a spec to aim for for AoE leveling.
Would
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#of0ibh0hzxGzZZhIccsfu0czxb
be good? I don't know if PoM would be worth it, if it works with channeled spells, but even if it doesn't then Arcane Potency will still be good, since it should work for the whole of the next blizzard, and if FoF procs off every blizzard hit like i've heard it does, then clearcasting will also, meaning that mana will literally never be a problem. I may be assuming too much here, however, and everyone's feedback is more than welcome :)
Feel free to tell me that i'm completely mistaken and to call me an utter noob, as long as you tell me why and provide an alternative to what i've done wrong. For if you don't give an alternative or at least explain why, you're nothing more than a troll.

A few things.
1) you NEVER want Frostbite in a Blizzard AoE build. If you gather up 10 mobs, 2 or 3 will get snagged by the ice, and the rest will continue running at you. When you go to blizzard the other 7, the 3 that got frostbitten won't be chilled anymore and they'll come to gank you. (because they're now too spread out to get hit by the blizzard)
2) FoF and Clearcasting work on different principles. FoF procs on chill effects. As Blizzard does a chill proc on each target each second, yes, FoF procs a lot (but then gets used up on the next tick of Blizzard, but you get a crit out of it at least). Clearcasting procs off a spell cast. So you can proc Clearcast on blizzard, but only on the initial casting, not on each tick. I do like having it in my build, but it's not going to have the amount of procs that FoF does.
Brain Freeze also can proc during blizzard, so you do usually have an instant fireball waiting for you.
3) PoM isn't worth it. It doesn't affect channeled spells.
Permafrost and Chilled To The Bone are great talents for blizzard aoe grinding. it's another 20% movement reduction to come to 70%.
Most AoE builds won't go deep into arcane.

So, taking all of that into account, would you think that
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#of0VZf0cZMIcIsfu0cdxfox
is better? I have had to waste points as filler since i've removed low tier talents, and i have one point that i can think of nothing to do with, but that shouldn't matter since i'm going to respec at 80.

YAAY! Go me :P
Thanks for the help /hugs ^^
But which tree should I go in second? Ofc frost first but with a level 71, which is what i'm trying this out on, I will still have 9 points, which is the whole of fire or nearly all arcane.
I would expect go fire first, since the extra damage is probably better than the mana effeciency, but i'm not fully sure.
Edit: Punctuation

I beg to differ. Frostbite is amazing for Blizzard AoE. 1 tick per second with a 15% chance to apply a 8 second freeze is amazing. Mobs never even get out of the first blizzard circle. Some don't move at all.
You have to be extremely unlucky for it not to work. But then you use your water elemental's freeze.
And don't forget the critical hits. It works with the Shatter talent.

The issue GenX brought up still stands: separation of mobs due to premature Frostbite procs.
However, that being said, once you get Mage Armor, you can wear that and not worry about Frostbite procs from Ice/Frost Armor.
Be careful with Shattered Barrier because if it shatters earlier than what you wanted, you could have some of the same issues. Usually it isn't a problem though because hopefully you aren't getting hit enough to break it.

I just switched my low-level (34) mage to frost to try out AoE grinding, and I've read some of the posts but decided to try out my own build. Any suggestions on
this
?
I avoid Frostbite and Shattered Barrier for the above-stated reasons, and went into Arcane to get
Torment the Weak
. I'm not positive about
Arcane Shielding
vs
Arcane Meditation
, maybe that would be better for mana mangement... is that an issue? It seems like a lot of casting, but frost is supposed to be good for that from what I hear. I also avoided talents related to Frostbolt because it doesn't seem to be used
much
in the AoE rotations.
The major glyphs are for spells that are used a lot in the rotations:
Ice Block
,
Blink
, and
Frost Nova
. The minor glyphs, of course, don't seem all that important... but I had to take
Glyph of the Penguin
because, well, if you're going Frost turning your opponent into a sheep doesn't really fit, does it?
Any feedback is welcome. Thanks!
EDIT:
Hmm, the more I think about it, the less I think I need Torment the Weak... since none of the AoE-rotation spells benefit from it. Maybe the Arcane tree isn't right for this after all. Time to re-think my build :)

This guy made a AoE Grinding Guide
, if you have any questions they would probably either be answered there or you can just ask him in the thread...fyi

Excellent. Now I'm all psyched up to try it out (wasn't all that successful last night, but I learned a bit)... but with about 7 hours till I get out of work :(

ya it takes time to get used to AoE grinding, I stopped my mage at about level 33 (started AoE at 20) its a slow process at first but killing big groups gets easier the more you level up :P, another nice thing about AoE Grinding is you wont run into many opposite faction so you wont get killed as much from enemy players :)

I just spent some time on my mage alt, and I'm
absolutely addicted
to frost AoE grinding! I died a bunch of times, but the satisfaction of killing 5+ mobs right around my level over and over made it
totally
worthwhile.
As a fire mage, downing one melee mob at a time seemed fun, though I couldn't get through more than a couple of those fights before I'd have to sit and drink to move on. It took a while to get used to the idea of seeking out groups of them (cats, raptors, you name it) with the intent of aggroing them all. Line 'em up and knock 'em down! It's a rush! I have skinning as a profession, so there's the extra thrill of skinning the S.O.B.s after killing and looting them.
Long story short, I
highly
recommend at least trying the AoE grind method for a
few levels
- don't just try it for an hour, it takes at least that long to get a good feel for the technique (or maybe I'm just slow). I've had to swap out some of my "...of the Owl" gear for "...of the Eagle", which reminds me of my old warlock, but it is FUN!

haha ya, I remember at level 30 I grabbed about 12 mobs and did my tricks and killed them in front of 2 other guys, they pretty much were like "daam!"
AoE grinding is fun, but my only issue is upgrading your armor as you usually (specially as a NEW person) don't have cash to blow on gear, one thing I miss from questing..
