Okay, I've never really worried about rep with my starter cities until recently. I want them all to hit exalted so that I can get "the crusader" title. I asked my guildies how I should go about this and they are suggested I do "the turn in cloth for rep thingy". I'm rather confused. Can someone explane this to me?

You can turn in different cloths to Alliance/Horde Cloth Quartermasters (don't know what faction you are since Armory is down). Just search for whatever city's Cloth Quartermaster you need and you can start turning in cloth.
Here's the Stormwind first cloth quest,
A Donation of Wool
. After that one you turn in Silk Cloth once, then Mageweave Cloth once and finally you can turn in Runecloth which opens up
Additional Runecloth
.
I would also suggest you do every factions startingquests (the quests in the starting areas) as they're a great source of reputation.

I remember this from pre BC, however with the two new fractions that came in during BC i dont beleive that they have the donation quests available to them (Correct me if im wrong). On a side Crusader title is bomb for a paladin, and if you either Dranei or a Blood Elf it should be a walk in the park assuming you got the gold to front for all the cloth.
Also if you need one the BC factions, do all thier starting zone quests. It should put you about 1/2 trough revered, and the rest can easily be aquired by handing in
Champion's Writ

I'm currently using the champion's writ to bring me up to exalted with silvermoon, I'm already a blood elf so I'm not that far off. The rest of the cities are what's causing me problems.
From what I see, it takes 20 runecloth to get 75 rep...thats not alot of rep. I've heared that stratholme is probably the best place to go farming the cloth. Any idea on how long I can expect to be grinding rep this way?
