there is also 3 points I want for improve Cone of cold, I like this spell and 35% damage isn't little. but I can't figure out what to remove, I have some ideas what to remove but I want to hear what you got to say firs, even if you don't agree and find it not needed explane why please.
Cone of Cold costs too much. At level 80, it costs nearly 1000 mana to cast. If you cast it per cooldown, you'll be OOM in 2 minutes, even faster if you're chucking frostbolts out between CDs. All for what? 1.5k damage non-crit (talented)? Not worth it.
on a side note, I chaged the arcane talent Magic Absorbtion cuz I don't think that getting mana from it is possible, as it is very rare for ppl to resist, correct me if I am wrong. You're wrong. Dead wrong. At level 80 you'll have 80 base resist, and then 40 from mage armor. That's 120 passive magic resist to ALL schools of magic. If you're fighting someone who doesn't have spell penetration on, there's going to be a LOT of full resists.
It's not even about the full resists even. It's about the damage mitigation. Magic Absorption puts you ahead of the game against other casters by cutting the damage done to you.

ok so I took Magic Absorbtion lightly (although using mage armor is rare when I fear from melee attacking), I'll get it full now but why is arcane focus more useful then arcane stability?
cause mana cost reduction is very nice.. although, really since you're not arcane it won't matter much one way or the other i don't guess.
also you didn't say anything about taking Spell Impact over Magic attunement, so I am guessing that is a right choice? if so, is taking it full instead of getting Magic Absorbtion full is better (meaning where is the lost point should be)?
thanks for answering with useful info keep comiing guys :)
spell impact vs magic attunement is really a personal choice.. it basically boils down to this for a frost mage - More damage on ice lances, fireblasts, and CoCs vs longer distance on polymorphs (cause that's probably the only spell you'd cast that's arcane tbh).
personally, i think the ice lance damage wins out by itself cause of your shatter combos, but again it's your own personal choice.

you'll also need to cast counterspell from farther with attunement, which is also pretty big.
