So I have spent a good deal of time in the arena on my resto shaman before but arena on my new
warrior
seems like a whole new can of worms. I was wondering how I can be of the most use in arena, as in
what classes would be best to partner with
in 2s and 3s. And any other advice you might have for warriors or melee dps in general.
Thanks!

Cool thanks, I have been running raids lately for a good two hand but have zero luck on rolls haha
What healer do you think best compliments an arms warrior? I don't really have a silence so a cyclone or shock/hex would be helpful. I don't really know much about paly heals tho
Anyone else have anything to throw in?

Oh and sorry what is a "cleave" setup

Basicly, any comp based on warrior, dk or ret pal. ( like Ret, DK, Shaman in 3.1 )

Any comp featuring two melee classes (usually plate) and a healer for 3v3 is a cleave team. The comp does not rely on CC but instead rushes a target attempting to burst it down. Cleaves are simple to play and very effective (some would say overpowered, I tend to think so as well), so people tend to complain when you use one. 5v5 cleave also exists, which is paladin, warrior, deathknight, shaman, and one other healer.
The most common cleave comp as of 3.1 is Warrior, Paladin, Druid.

Ok, for further info on Booterang's input, a Cleave team is based of:
1 - Healer. Any healing class.
2 - a Mortal-Strike effect DPS class (Mortal Strike means 50% healing reductions on the target). Rogues, Warriors and Hunters are able to fill this roles.
3 - A high-burst class (Namely, a Death Knight or a Retribution Paladin). As their damage is tuned to be able to fight even without the Mortal-Strike effect, if the target this Cleave comp chooses is affected by both the Mortal Strike class AND the ret/DK damage, its healing, no matter how high, will be too weak for the dps. From here on, it is a 2vs3 fight, where the other team has no healer. Most of the times, an instant win.

Cool thank you guys for the input. Would you recommend I put together a cleave team or are there any other teams I could configure?
