Hey, was just wondering if any other Rets out there thought of including Shield of the Righteousness into their Rotation during periods where everything would be on cooldown (when you have a spare 2-5 seconds before next available ability cools down).
I just thought of making macros to switch to sword and board, cast SoTR, and have either the same macro, or my other abilities made to equip my 2her again.
Of course this wouldn't be an every fight sort of deal, but on a boss like Vezax, where you can go all out without disruption, I find myself with the few seconds to spare.
Comments + Feedback please
-Thanks, Spankky.

I thought re-equipping weapons during combat caused a GCD cooldown?

Not only that but resets your swing timer, so if this could work it would most likely to only be used when you know you have the time to spare, and also are able to do it at a good time whilst paying attention to your swing timer =/
That was the reason I thought of a fight like Vezax, where at times you have a spare 2-5 seconds waiting for something to cooldown..
Not sure if the actual damage done by SoTR would outweigh the somewhat loss from the swing damage.. I'm guessing it could use some testing..
Could be useful for PvP though for an added burst to finish off!

Just don't do it. Be a good ret and keep your 2 hander equipped. SotR will POSSIBLY be viable if you have horrible gear. In a raid environment with descent gear, SotR is NOT worth it.
This has been discussed many times over. Just don't do it. It's not viable.
