Having some trouble trying to find a purpose for my character.

First off, let me allow you to read a little of her backstory and then I will tell you what my problem is:
Even though she couldn’t make a fireball out of thin air to save her life, Elsinne Starsong was unimaginably agile. During her younger years she was constantly scolded for balancing on furniture and jumping around on rooftops. These artful displays went completely unappreciated by anyone until the day she met Elara. Elsinne was on her way home from the futility of arcane class one evening, walking carefully but effortlessly along the top rail of an iron fence. Elsinne gave little thought to this; it was a mindless activity. Elara, a petty thief who lived in Murder Row, was impressed by Elsinne’s almost musical motion.
Elara was a good twenty years older than Elsinne, but they became friends. Elsinne always had a bit of a rebellious streak and this played right into Elara’s hands. For some years, they would get themselves involved in mischief and petty crime. They’d never be discovered. Elara would eventually become part of a rogue society that operated out of Murder Row. Elsinne couldn’t join—her family would disown her in a heartbeat—but often Elara would meet with Elsinne in secret and give her private lessons on combat. Elsinne always trained fast and often ended up performing even better than her teacher who had official training. The main lesson that Elsinne took from Elara was that of efficiency. Do what needed to be done. No more, no less. Nothing fancy. No showboating. Showing off is what gets people thrown in prison or killed.
As with most other surviving elves, Elsinne’s family was destroyed during the scourge invasion. Her brother’s body, though, was never found. She searched for it for weeks after the scourge had been driven back, but there was no sign of him. If it can be said that there was an upside to any of this, though, there was now nobody left to continue to push her towards the magical arts that she never had the aptitude for. She was free to leave the oppressive, authoritarian Silvermoon without feeling that she was disappointing anyone. She left Silvermoon and eventually Quel'thalas, directed only by the winds and largely motivated by the desire to stay alive.
So my problem is this. I am having some trouble finding motivation for her. What keeps her going? She didn't like the oppressive society of Silvermoon, so she left - she didn't bother to stay to help rebuild. She doesn't have a "vengeance against Arthas" theme going, nor is she necessarily interested in gaining the world's wealth in riches. Elsinne is primarily wandering, but I can't work plotlines out of that.
Suggestions?

Why not? There are a few great wanderer's in Warcraft: Cenarius traveled the Forests, rarely staying in one space for long. Rexxar was the ultimate wanderer till the Portal reopened and he rediscovered his own kind, the other half-ogre's. There are alot of wanderer's all across the Lore so you can set things up that way, make her an explorer and have her always looking for new adventures.

I never looked at it that way, but that's a pretty good idea.

A Rogue's purpose is (most often) his/her own. No reason to justify it. You could play as if each adventure was merely for the sake of going. Who needs vengeance against Arthas when you're just out to see Icecrown, hmm?

Well, if you really want her to have a purpose, you say in her backstory that her brother's body was never found... Maybe, even not knowing it herself, she could be seeking out her lost brother. She apparently had some affection for him seeing as she searched for him for weeks after the Scourge Invasion. Or maybe not even to find her brother but some answer as to what happened to him. Many people don't know what they're looking for until they find it...

This. I wanted to say the same thing, but Highvoltage said it better than I would have anyway.
