Hey guys. Im a noob lock, and ive always been curious to why you cant have Immolate and Unstable affliction on the same mob? It always seems that when i load up my dots on a mob, i can put immolate on it, but as soon as i put unstable affliction on, It replaces immolate, and vice versa. Is there a reason i cant have both of these because ive read both spell tooltips and went through my spec and there is nothing i can find to indicate they cant be used together.
Im an affliction warlock.
Thanks guys

it was changed in 3.1
Immo and UA now cannot be on the same mob at the same time, as yizelin mentioned that was made to make affliction rotation simpler, if you consider that you don't need to cast Siphon Life too i think they did what they intended to do.

I'm curious about this,
Situation
2 Warlocks 1 boss - 1 Lock Affliction build / 1 Lock Destro build
Is this immo and UA thing gonna be a problem (will the destro lock putting immo on the boss conflict with the affli lock putting UA on the boss and vise versa)?

Most all abilities that have restrictions like that are "per Warlock" restrictions. Curses are the same way. You personally can only have 1 Curse on a target, but two warlocks can have any combination of Curses up simultaneously.
