Well, xp and and vendorables can't ever hurt as long as you don't spend more than you get on repairing. Compare your current gear to these lists and see if there's any awesome upgrades for you:
tank
,
dps
, and if you're crazy enough to go
balance
or
resto
.

until 60 you can heal as a feral spec
same like paladin until 60 he can heal as a retri spec, just need to pick some int gear to have some mana pool, same as druid dont be worry, you can tank as a druid in every spec until 60

I'm considering going through RFC, but I'm only level 13. Druid, so I can heal or tank. Is there even any good loot in RFC? Should I level a bit more before I go?
Nah. The minumum level to enter the instance as it is is 8.
Should be fine.

Lol, sorry couldn't resist looking at your profile as you joined this forum 8 months ago and have since then placed comments about rogues, warriors, warlocks and even made a thread with a levelingguide of a priest from 1 to 80 wherein you even have put information for the 'new players' as you call it.
Therefore I find this question a bit odd.
As you make alot of use of this forum you kinda should know how to look for information of instances (for instance levelrequirements for dungeons).
But to be informative; there is a search database space in the topright corner of this forum, you can write in it (Something like: Ragefire Chasm) and a new page will appear with all kind of wonderfull information about level mobs, drops etc.
