Forum, I have a question, and hopefully some of you will see fit to give me an honest opinion. The question, well...in question is why do you think the growing user base has grown so averse to playing as a strictly support spec? It seems to me that the unsung hero of a class archetype has all but disappeared from the game as a whole. It's all about how fast we can burn down a raid boss, and how high the shiny crits can get these days.
So there it is. Answer if you will, add comments as you see fit, but just give me your thoughts on the subject. Hell, I could be way off base and it could just be my server, but from the various forums, (class forums to be precise) reflect my idea that players would rather play for their own success then see the raid down *enter random raid* with flying colors. What do you think?

if you're talking about healers being treated that way then yes it is something just on your realm, if your talking about like shammy or a meta lock to increase raid sp then i think that problem is everywhere

Remember when raids took more than one day, even by the best of the best?
Not including: Kara, Mag, Gruul, Hyjal, ZA
Because those are easy in one day.

Part of the reason I like leveling alts is that in instances, CC can be extremely useful, and in fact, is used much more often.
Makes it more challenging, and way more fun, if you have 5 competent players that are slightly underlevel for the instance. I love challenges like that.
