Pvp shadow and mana burn

I've decided to get into pvp more on my shadowpriest and have decided to make my secondary spec fully shadow pvp.
My 2v2 partner is a rogue and I'm doing 3's with my rogue friend and also a ret/holy paladin.
I was wondering if there were any opinions on dipping far enough into the disc tree for imp mana burn or would the points be better spent elsewhere?
I've read over the anathema shadowpriest pvp section and it suggests that it can have a place but would be better placed in a 3 or 5 man team. I would like to hear more opinions if anyone has them =)

There's two kinds of Shadow Priests.
The ones that CC and kill fast enough to not have to burn.
And the ones who last long enough to burn.
For Rogue/SPriest, it seems like you're going to try to CC healer and kill DPS.

Well I have no illusions of grandeur Jabra. It's just that I've done arena healing on my resto druid, wanted to do something different with my priest and I really enjoy the playstyle of shadow.
I finalized my spec last night and didn't include mana burn. I might try it out at some point, and if I do become wildly successful as a pvp shadowpriest I'll track ya down and let you know what's what. :)
Thanks for the input everyone.

Mana burn works wonders when paired in groups as you can down casters extremely quickly. Going against a mana burn spec, you'll probably not want to use the spell at all.
Having fun is more important than winning imho, but Jabra is right when he says that you'd be more efficient as disc. Disc priest/rogue is a very powerful combo.

Here is the spec I came up with.

I could be off on a few of the talents I choose, but tried to mix survivability in without sacrificing damage. I haven't tried it in the arena yet but have been having a blast with it in some battlegrounds.
Glyphs of dispersion
glyph of shadow word: pain
glyph of power word: shield
(sorry the links for the glyphs aren't working and I don't have time to play with it at work)
