If you want to solo stuff and have ability to dps/heal, then Paladin or Druid like you had before. I have never been a pvp'r so have no clue their viability in pvp.

ive been considering both all day and the only thing that draws me away from druids (other than they are pretty boring to level) is the lack of aoe effects, atleast with a paladin u can use consecration and divine storm to help knock down groups of mobs, where as from what ive seen druids can only really attack one target at a time....
Druids have aoe spells,
Balance:typhoon, hurricane and starfall.
Dont really play my druid as balance farming, but i imagine it goes soemthing like round up mobs , barkskin, hurricane/starfall till dead. im probably wrong on that but all the same they have aoe as well.
Feral: swipe(bear and cat) and maul (if glyphed for it hits 2 targets)
My druid is feral (tank spec), I run into a pack and grab as many as I can, sit back and spam maul and swipe. Rinse and repeat on next group, can still be done in cat form , on less mobs if u want but all the same they have aoe
