I don't understand the point of this. Totems are well known to work fully, but the thing is you have to be grouped for them to work... if you're grouped with someone high level, they can kill the mob you need to kill for you. If you want to kill, you'll just get no exp because you're in party with a high level.
Of course totems work, why wouldn't they?

The same thing happens (or at least happened) with Warlocks' Imp's Blood Pact.
It doesn't really matter that it doesn't scale down for low levels, because if you're standing that close to an 80 that's in your group, that 80 might as well just kill stuff for you in one hit. You're already getting greatly reduced XP.

back then there was a way to glitch your character to lvl 10-19 WSG it wasnt very complicated but Blizz pugged it those who did it got reported
