TBH why are you asking this? if its a cast time yes it will suffer from push back, but why would it be useless? start off with it, then once AoW is up use it again (as the CD finishes). Also if it suffers from a push back it can only be pushed back 2 times.

No word on it yet.. But I think most people expect that the cooldown will be lowered now that it is part of AoW.. With AoW proccing less it seems like the best way to go..
And no.. Don't start every pull with it.. do you do that now ? Solo grinding I personally only use it on undead mobs either way.. only going to make a difference in raids..
And no matter what most tests seems to come with the same result.. Our rotation will be different with a lower cd on cs, but our pve damage is going up.. Burst in pvp was lowered but we will be better dps in pve..

exorcism have 15 sec cooldown right?
so do you think that in 15 second you can have at least one crit from cs,ds or white hits?
if not, then there is some problem with you or with your gear (lack of crit), so you will use aotw not for instant FoL, but for instant exorcism

Not sure if anyone thought of this change in this way but...
Didn't blizzard remove exo from being used on players because it made ret pally burst more insane that it already was.
Now they make it use-able on players again with a 1.5 sec cast time but with AoW procs its instant.
Now to me it looks like they just reverted it back the way that it was just requiring the pally to melee their target once before they can use it rather than being able to open with it.
This being said I don't believe its gonna be any different than before it was removed from being cast on players.
Also means you have time to get away if you're a caster and use snares/stuns to take out paladins, because we can't cast it while moving towards you.
But yeah, I can see how this really wouldn't help the burst complaint many people have about Paladins in PVP.and of course, now you must choose, heal yourself or do damage to enemy? before you had instant FoL and instant exorcism now you must choose between these two

As a holy pally, i have very very few attacks to chose from, exo consists of at least 30% of my dmg output, and this nerf will hit my ability to grind anything solo very very hard.
I'm going to call you out on that one. Exo has a 15 second cooldown. Holy Shock has a 5 second cooldown, so you can use it 3 times in the space of 1 Exorcism. Even Melee will allow you to do more damage than Exorcism, not counting any Seals that you use.
If you're needing to use Exorcism more than once in a simple fight, then your ability to grind anything solo is horrible as it is. It just means you have casting time and pushback, it doesn't change anything else.
wakawaka0123 - if you read Blizzard's reasoning for the change, it's to stop people from running into combat and essentially getting a 'free hit' off as they charge in. Removing it from PvP was too much, so giving it a cast time (they could have made it 0.5secs like old school HoW, and it wouldn't change much) means that you have to be stationary.
