Warrior (3.1 Skills List / 3.1 Talent + Glyph Calc.)
* Shield Slam: The benefit from additional block value this ability gains is now subject to diminishing returns. Diminishing returns occur once block value exceeds 30 times the player's level and caps the maximum damage benefit from shield block value at 34.5 times the player's level.
This is from MMO Champion. But can someone explain how much this actually affects Threat in PvE and damage in PvP. Sorry I'm not good at understanding such things.
Thanks in advance!,

At level 80, you will start seeing less return from your block value once it goes above 2400. Once your block value reaches 2760 it no longer gives additional benefit to Shield Slam.

Weren't they also making the extra SBV from Shield Block not affect Shield Slam, but instead doubling it's Threat?
They changed it once they realized it was dumb and would cause an uprising of forum flaming from every warrior tank on the planet.
DR was a much better approach to the "problem" then nerfing shield block to the ground imo.
btw, how much SBR do normal prot pvp'rs have? ( they seem to be the group of people that made the most out of the issue)

The best gear then for shieldslam-prot-dps would not be to stack bv like a madman, instead go to 2,75k then go for crit.
(2,75k bv is a lot)
