Hello all,
Today I decided to reinstall wow onto the PC. I had to get the first game (classic wow) from the Blizzard account page because I don't have the CD for that one any more. Anyway, I downloaded that and then found the game to start patching in the normal way. However, the game started to patch right up to the latest patch. The only client I downloaded was the classic WOW one. I have all the two expansions on CD/DVD.
When the game had finished patching, I then put in the burning crusade CD number one. There was no install button though. I only found 'click here to play the burning crusade' but no install button. I then put in the lich king DVD and left that to install.
Doe's this normally happen? Has the BC installed through the patches or something because I've not had to use the BC CD's at all? The lich king seems to have installed fine :) I was just puzzled really.
Thanks

I didn't download the expansions because I already had them on CD/DVD like I said and thought it would save time. My account is upgraded to the lich king, I just read this on the account page
'This installer will allow you to download and install World of Warcraft Classic, The Burning Crusade, and Wrath of the Lich King. In each case you need to only download and install the latest expansion which you require, as this will include the previous content. If you want to download and install The Burning Crusade, for example, you do not need to also download and install World of Warcraft Classic'
So I have installed the lich king expansion which should also include the BC content if this is correct.
