Even with the 5% nerf Intel will still give us Spell Power, Mana & Crit. I have been wondering about the nerf from 60% to 40% mana back on Illumination. I don't stack MP5, all my gear is haste & crit oriented, this might change. I think this of more concern as we're basically losing 33% of our MP5 from crits. Intellect will always be there on gear and gems (saw a Holy Pally from the top guild on our server with 30K unbuffed mana) and will get better with gear, 5% isn't that big of a hit imo.

Did I miss an update on the PTR info? It was 30% last I knew, but I was figuring it'd go up a bit, so I wouldn't be surprised.
More on topic, int will still be hugely useful. It increases the amount of mana you get back from DP and gives you more longevity for longer or more intensive fights. Obviously you never want to ignore all your other stats for the sake of just one, but int will still be a hugely beneficial stat to holy paladins in 3.2 like it is now.

Because of the big nerf coming to illumination i myself have started thinking more about mp5, because it will be important especially if your doing tank healing in raids, u wont be able to last as long as u used to because of the less mana back from crits, altho int and crit is still very important to a paladin we have to try and keep our mana regen also or we will go oom quicker, but also in 3.2 the mp5 from items is going up by 25% ( it says so in the patch notes ) so i think trying to get some mp5 items will benefit u and all other pallys...

Ive already begun more and more to practice using SS + FoL to get myself ready. I think there will be a general shift in healadin gearing moving a bit away from crit and more into haste and MP5. As for INT, I dont see its primary role in gearing strategies is going to massively alter. The healadins biggest mana regen is still going to come from Divine Plea and the larger the mana pool the more we get from that.
