My holy/disc priest has just entered Northrend. I roleplay my characters a little, and would like his gear to look bright and holy. But all Northrend cloth seesm so dark and sinister... like I should play a shadow cultist instead!
Is there any Northrend cloth that looks brighter?
Sorry! please ignore this post.... I double posted (must have been some wowhead lag, as my first post did not appear immediately, and I thought I had messed up!)

I'm pretty sure a webmaster deleted the other post; if not you did yourself. I wouldn't recommend picking gear based on how it looks, not for leveling anyways. As far as whether or not there even is any brighter gear , I have no clue.

Yeah I think the webmaster did delete the initial post.
Anyway, yeah, I know just grabbing gear with the best stats is the smart thing to do, since pieces are upgraded frequently while leveling. But for roleplaying the character, good gear that is good looking helps me get into it more. I'm not into PVP, I'm not trying to have the most powerful spec and stats around... just having fun.

He means from an RP-perspective.
Hmm, well...
T7 is kind of brightish? It is a T3 re-colour.

Sorry to say that most of the gear in Northrend looks all the same. Most of the non-epics share models and skins, same for the epics too. There's really no unique models outside of Tier 7 in this expansion.
Also, the grand majority of gear in Northrend is not bright nor colorful. Nothing you can really do about it.
If you want some RP gear, I recommend looking at older content items.
If you have tailoring, your options increase. Take a look at some of the crafted level 60 and 70 epics. You'll find beautiful designs that have "holy" written all over it.

Not speaking about coolness, nothing screams more "HOLY PRIEST!" than tier 5 with Staff of Immaculate Recovery. It is not my favourite-looking set, but nothing stands near it to identify a class.
EDIT: The point of the post is northrend gear; however, its utter lack of originality forced us to remember old gear. Shame :'(
