I want to request availability of advanced filtering strings like:
"(Strength>0 || Stamina>0) && !Intelligence && (Slot==Neck || Slot==Finger || Slot==Trinket)"
or with functions like:
"!DropsIn('Ulduar') && !BoughtWith('Emblem of Valor') && MinLevel(80) && MinILevel(200)"
Sometimes and/oring a bunch of criterias isn't enough. PHP shares it's expression syntax with many other languages so it won't be hard for
many
some
enough people to learn. There are some cool sandboxing extensions for PHP. You can create a sandbox, put functions like "DropsIn, MinLevel, MaxLevel, ..." and variables like "Name, Level, Strength, Price, ..." in the sandbox and just eval the whole string in an "if" statement.
Sounds really easy to add from here. Install sandbox extension, drop in a "advanced filter" input box and voila! I would very appreciate a reply from one of your coders.

It's a long sought for request and this request in particular is of a higher priority. With the profiler out in beta now, Wowhead will be taking a little more time to work on those long sought requests.

Well it might not be like my idea, but filtering still needs some more features. I mean we can't ask Wowhead something like "Can you find me all items I can buy from X or Y that binds on equip?" because its "(X or Y) and Z" and Wowhead filtering doesn't support it. Maybe this can be solved by adding multiple filters like "Match this filter or this filter or this filter or..." so we can achieve this by creating two filters like this:
Filter1:
Bought from X
Binds on equip
Filter2:
Bought from Y
Binds on equip
This might be a little harder to use and implement than what I asked in the FP, but won't require lots of testing like it. (It will be like combining results of two or more filters after all...)

Yes yes yes, boolean filters are what I was referring to.
