Got the Priest to 80, got a Mage to 80. I feel both are the best at Healing and Caster Dps respectively.
So I'm on to a Tank class to round out the trio, and I'm stuck.
I've been playing all 3 for 45 levels, and still can't come to a clear decision on which I should hang with to 80. 46 Warrior, 45 Druid, 45 Paladin. Full Heirlooms for each. Yet still can't come up with a defining quality that creates the urge to go the distance with just one.
I'm not skilled at knowing the ins and outs of each. Just the stereotypes of each (Warriors = singletarget, Pally = Multi aggro holders, Druid = little of both).
Any end game tanks that want to share why they enjoy their class, please feel free. I'm at a loss and could use some current input (since other threads on the topic date back to 2007. games changed since then).

Any tank class can basically do any kind of tanking now. I personally have a Paladin with prot as an offspec and I enjoy it quite a bit. I never find there's a style of fight I can't really deal with, but I'm sure every other tank class feels the same way. Also, I'm sure this is a stupid and insulting question, but I have to be absolutely sure. You're aware Death Knights can tank as well?

I know DK's are considered a Tank Class. I don't have any inclination to play one however. I don't like them in the least. Shaman and DK's are two classes I'll never play. Just not my thing.
The changes happening toward Pally's in 3.2 look interesting.
Just stuck on the fence.

I have played Protection Warrior, Bear Druid, and Protection Paladin, and from my perspective the latter is the most fulfilling one. The versatility of a Paladin just exceeds the others, and some encounters/achievements are just better managed with a Paladin tanking. I have no experience with DK tanking, so no comments there.

A lot of people say Prot paladins have more 'versatility' than the other tanks, but those people have never partied with a really good bear druid. Don't get me wrong, Prot Paladin is definitely an amazing tanking class that brings a ton to the table, but I really enjoy having/being a feral druid bear tank, just because I still have innervate, battlerez, regular rez (after combat), Roots in bear form, and other cool utility too, Not to mention the damage dealing capabilities. :)
As far as gear scaling right now, I'd have to say that warriors are at the bottom of the totem pole for that, but maybe the block fixes in 3.2 will help that. Feral druid and Prot pally seem to scale pretty well with gear, pally probably a bit moreso.
In the end, play whichever class you enjoy more and you'll be much happier for it. I'll stick to druid. :P

I have personal experience with Druid and Frost DK tanking (Druid is pretty much end game, DK goes up to Naxx 25), and i cooperate with a lot of warrior and paladin tanks. All the classes are enjoyable, its really impossible to just say which one is the best. Its about personal preference.

Well I have my Druid tank and there are 2 main things I dont like about him, no mattter how good your gear gets.... you still are just a big bear butt haha. And sometimes I find it annoying in low rage situations (like a heroic) cause there is only one easy way to get rage.
But those are both small things, after they made swipe a 360 attack I would like any of the three.

Thanks alot for the link. I'm not asking that tired stupid question of "Which is the best tank?" though. Just going for what drives players to play their tanks (i.e. I like my pally cause he never runs out of mana). Or if someone has dual or triple tanks, what they like and/or dislike of each.
Sick of levelling 3 tanks at once.
