BoA and character transfers

So, my girlfriend is seriously starting to think about getting her own WoW account, instead of piggybacking off mine. Once she does, I'm thinking it might be easier to transfer her characters across to her new account, rather than start playing up from scratch again, even with the Recruit-a-Friend powerlevelling service.
Then it struck me - what happens to the BoA heirloom items that might be on her character when they get transferred? Do they get moved across too? Or will it simply not be allowed?

They will move with the toon.

I dont know that they will that is an excellent question because if they dont, the question then is Do they get put back into the main purchaser's bags or do they get deleted? because remember they are Bind To Account, not Pickup or Equip, so Blizzard may have them set(programed) to stay within the set account. You may want to call blizzard directly or to look on their website for more info because as i said previously these arent normal items and the amount of badges you took time to get you may not want to lose those. also keep in mind that in order to be able to transfer her character to another account even her own it must have the same last name and billing information as yours...... trust me ive had those kinds of problems with the account info as my wife wanted her own.

here
says yes, they will transfer and can be mailed around on the new server. I've also seen other posts saying that they do transfer to the new account as well with no issues.

There's a slight problem. If your girlfriend starts an account with her information, which will obviously be different from you, then you may not be able to transfer characters to hers. I know when I did recruit a friend with myself, I typo'd my name like a moron, so I was not able to transfer the guy I leveled from the RAF account over to my main account. I had to call the hotline. I would suggest when she creates an account, you sign up for it and keep all the information identical to your current account. That way it would ensure smooth transition of characters on your account to hers. She can still foot the bill on the account even if it's in your name. I was told, offcially from Blizzard, you can only transfer characters to another account if you own both and the account information is identical, which you cannot change once you officially sign up for an account online.
Of course, I could just be sounding like an idiot right now and it's not that difficult to do what you are planning, just letting you know what happened to me O.o

Yea I used to piggy back off of my girlfreinds account....
What you need to do is first create the account. Have the same credit card and the same name and info. Then you can transfer. You will end up paying her first bill or month of gameplay. Afterward she can change all the information to match her own stuff
happy raiding
The only thing she cannot change however is the last name on the account, this was also a problem for my brother and i who when i first started playing ( a paladin up to level 54) i was unable to transfer it to my account cause we couldnt change his name, considering the fact that his last name differs from mine from my step father. but that is good to know that they will transfer with any character, now they just need to make it so you can send them to different realms on your account... Like have them in all of your toons bags, but if a toon is currently using them they are unusable on a different toon until they are unequipped.
