Just make sure you don't base mobility on what you experience as a Druid. They're the most slippery and mobile class out there.
As far as casters, the most immobile is an elemental shaman. It's basically a turret. Stand and Fire. Warlocks are as mobile as hunters because you have the pet and a number of instant cast DoT's that you can fire off while moving. You get your tank pet at level 10, so early on, you're mobile. Fear allows you to take on more targets. Hunters tend to be 1 target at a time until you get higher up for a bear pet to do aoe tanking.
A Rogue is very mobile, but they're fragile compared to druids. you don't take on all comers. If you get adds, you normally vanish and try again, or blind one, burn one down, burn down number 2 and hope you have enough HP left.

I just love blink. That spell alone makes Mages awesome.
Except from that the Druid is really the most mobile class.
Playing Warlock or Hunter might offer something new since they have a pet. You can just walk around while the pet can pin down the enemy.
I made a similar topic a while ago and came to the conclusion that there simply is no point at all in leveling an alt. If I want to change the way I play the game I just go and respec ;) Easy and faster then leveling alts.

For mobility you can't go wrong with either an Enhancement Shaman or Hunter. Both offer zero downtime and kill things FAST. You'll feel right at home if you're used to levelling a Feral Druid.
Not much else compares to be honest. Rolling a Warlock is another option I guess, but I don't have a lot of experience with them. They also don't have the travel bonuses like shamans (ghost wolf), druids (cat/travel form) and hunters (aspect of the cheetah/pack). But I do understand locks also have little to no downtime, like these other classes.

I personally have a warlock lvl 80 alt and a warrior lvl 67 alt.
I'll try to answer under the "mobility while fighting" which seemed to be your main request. Feral druid is probably one of the best at that, then hunter and prot warrior (but after level 50 only).
- the hunter has (or wants) to stay at distance to be able to shoot and can engage multiple mobs and control them, as you already identified. (disclaimer : i haven't played one at the moment)
- protection warrior once he gets warbringer can move around quite a bit. My warrior can use both charge and intercept in combat (one on 15s cd, the other longer), has a cone stun, some AoE abilities and a lot of procs to do some heavy damage (i'm fully BoA geared + engineering helm though, that helps too). As an example, i did a 2person escort quest by myself a few days ago (Terrokar, getting out of Firewing point) and the escortee aggroed two mobs (normal), then 2 other casters while pursuing a fleeing one amongst the first, and then again 2 others (the whole middle section basically). I managed to get alive out of that and to keep him alive by getting agro on the 4-5 mobs we had on us, stunning and generally killing things fast enough to not die myself (i was at 5% life and potion cd used though).
It was a nice fight, though honestly most of what i'll do usually when keeping things under control is charge a mob, kill him, charge next mob, ... and never ever stop to heal myself. Oh, and the elite melee naga mob from Zangarmarsh died while i was at 80% health, no potions/bandages/kiting used.
- warlock with affliction spec is mobile but here again it will have to wait for you to reach a certain level to get the tools needed for that. And once you're there, it's basically cloth tanking, ie dot mob up, move to next, dot up, move to next, ..., and if it gets dangerous, fear and drain life. ie there's not much tactical pleasure to it, even though it's interesting to see how far you can go and how many mobs you can take on at the same time.
That being said, i'd say rogue (similar to feral), hunter or warrior might be the thing closest to what you're looking for, ie a class that can use a high number of tools to react to dangerous situations and can dps on the move.
However, any of thoe class (same as feral actually) can also be played quite conservatively by running up to mob, killing him, and then run to the next. Having to move comes more from playstyle and getting yourself in dangerous situations rather than class specificity.
