Trouble with DPSing - Low DPS (Arms Spec)

For all you DPS Warrior out there, would you guys be able to provide me how I can improve my DPS when DPSing?

I know I don't have the best gear, but I'm only averaging less than 1k.
What rotations do you?
I usually charge in, bezerker rage, spam mortal strike, overpower and execute when it's up. Use Slam when nothing is up. Occasionally using cleave, and shattering throw and pop Bloodrage when i'm low on rage,
What do i need to do increase DPS? Get better gear?
Please provide me with your valuable suggestions or advice.

I was under the impression that i was suppose to equip with Crit/Ap stats to dps well.
the problem is that it's soo hard to replace the gear i have now.

As far as rotation, there isn't one just a priority list.
1) Keeping Rend Up
2) Execute (SD Procs ONLY)
3) Overpower
4) Mortal Strirke
5) Slam
(Using Bladestorm whenever its of CD)

another question regarding hit percentage. When I'm in my protection spec with my axe and board, my hit % is around 2.5%. Do i need to cap that 8% as well?

IDK what it is but i just hit 80 last night on my warrior, then was invited to a 25 OS. I only have 1 epic at this point (eng. goggles) the rest are quest blues and greens and as an arms warrior I ended at 5th in damage done overall compared to people wearing full T7 and T8. Now i know most of my damage was from trash but on a couple of the Drake Mini Bosses I pulled about 2.8k.
My basic rotation was rend>MS>OP execute when it's up and pop sweeping strikes and bladestorm with multi-mobs close.

You are sooooo wrong.
You're a blacksmith - use your crafting skills! Craft the vengeance bracers and an Eternal Belt Buckle ASAP. Insert extra sockets into your gloves and your (new) bracers. See? It's not hard at all. Also:
Your helmet is good but it needs gemming and enchanting. Also your tanking leggings can easily be replaced by f.ex. the craftable mail leggings (leather working). Enhance them with the Icescale Leg armor and you have anothe big improvement there.
