Hey everyone!
I have just dinged 80 and I am very happy about that ofcause, but I have got a problem.
I'm playing alot of GB and when I'm good enough and have a very good gear I will go for Arena to toprate with my friend who are playing Mage (I think he gona respec to Frost soon).
I wonder what's the priest secret, when we talk about the gear? Should I put in gems for haste, SP, recileance or what should I put in the gear (I am disc speced ofcause, 60/11/0).
I also wanna know what type of weapon I should go for? Should I trying to get
"Torch of Holy Fire"
or should I get this one
"Deadly Gladiator's Gavel"
?
I am very greatful for all answers and advice from you, and you not mess your time on write to me beacuse I should be a good priest some day. ;)
I am from sweden so my english isn't the best, but I hope you will understand what I trying to ask you guys/girls.

Quite good information yes. =)
But It not says exactlly which choise is the best? It's just main information, or have I been reading to fast?
But I looked just at the pros specs/gear/gems/enchants, so I mabye have get all information I need...

The is no best choice as you can see from the sticky different priests use different specs, glyphs, weapons, gear and gems.
It is all down to
your preference
.
Only you can decide which stats to aim for the most and if want to play offensively or defensively.
Just try out some Bg's or arena skirmishes to find out what you need.
Then I should think I'm more agressive player, an offensively one. Should I then not go for so much reciliance and try more SP?

Is it even possible to get Deadly Gladiator's Gavel? I thought you had to get Furious T1/T2 or no PVP weapon now.
Obviously, PVP weapon is better for PVP, but it's not as big a priority as getting a full armor set that isn't Savage. Plus, saving for shoulder or T2 = more e-peen.
And yes, don't always get the Salvation off-pieces. You need hit, 130 spell penetration (lots of gemming and enchanting until you get Piercing Touch wand), and all that goody stuff.

First of all make sure you are PvP hit capped which will mean your Fear or damage spells will not miss which is very important.
If your more aggresive it might be better to use
Glyph of smite
in place of another glyph.
You would also not use many regen trinkets or gems seeing as how you are hoping to kill the other team faster than you can OOM.
You should mainly be going for Sp anyway and somewhat ignoring haste and crit (But not forgeting about them completly).
You should always go for ~800-1000 resilience. Try not to drop much of this as it is what is keeping you alive.
Definatly get
Spell priercing
on your cloak. It helps stop resist which can be game breaking.

Mabye I should put out my glyph of flash heal then and put in the one you recomended for me.
I have an other mabye dumb question, but how much resilience I get just from the gear without any geming and enchanting?

And about the armor set. I am trying to get full hateful first of all, I have soon the chest, and after that I will go for the head and so on.
