New Skins (But I Like My Hair Color)

While it is a relief to have some graphic variety among those with the same spec now I can't help but feel Blizz executed it in a rather poor manner.
For those wondering Blizz is adding about 6 new cat and bear skins allowing you to pick between them by changing your hair color.
Sure you may only see your Night Elf/Tauren selves only about 5% of the time but you value how you look during that time just as highly as any other class.
Mages have an abundant variety of Tomes of Polymorph:_____ that are either dropped or bought allowing them to choose what insignificant all-be-it, mildly hilarious animal to polymorph a mob into and at no detriment to the caster once obtained.
They also have a few minor glyphs for this however i feel the limited number of glyph slots is too important to bind such cosmetic things to and they should be re-itemized as tomes.
If the class is left with enough glyph slots after priorities that they go for a purely cosmetic glyph over a secondary priority glyph then the class itself needs some more appealing and useful glyphs.
Why allow druids to appreciate the form they're in 90% of the time at the cost of having less respect for their original form's appearance or by taking up a glyph slot when there're more usable glyphs.
Looking presentable in the player's eyes in one form shouldn't come at the cost of being hated in the same player's eyes in another.
Glyph slots are too scarce and valuable to be used for such a purpose (even for mage's poly)
Disliking how players look in one form to allow them to better like another isn't a proper solution either.
The solution....
Books (druid skins), Tomes (mage poly skins), possibly additional pricier trainer spells
I'm sure players can and will farm a book as mages have, purchase a pricier version of a spell similar to another rank equal in effectiveness just a different look, or even buy a book for upwards of 2500g as mages have for Tome of Polymorph:Black Cat.
Ie. or from a trainer, even to defeat your foes with your dirty unmentionables so long as it isn't at a loss to the player's enjoyment or character's effectiveness.
The player gets their preferred cosmetic enhancement without consuming an all too valuable glyph slot or at the cost of relocating their unsatisfactory opinion from one form to another which truly isn't solving the problem but rather moving it elsewhere.
With all that being said I would like to thank the Blizzard character designers on a job well done for the much anticipated and outstanding new skins.

They've said the skin color thing is temporary. It's just the way they could implement the new skins the fastest. They don't have an end solution yet, but they don't plan (at least from how they made it sound) to have druids skin control how their form's look in the long run. So for 3.3 who knows? or more likely next expansion, who knows.... as i wouldn't think they'd revert a mechanic, even one they admittedly don't like themselves, all that quickly.
Never underestimate the lifetime of a temporary solution.
As long as it works and it isn't totally crappy it will most probably never get changed.

There's also a certain logic to it : the color of your hair controls the color of your fur. It might not be something you like, but ...

This.
The only thing worth complaining about IMHO is how GC stated that dev's are upset about the fact that we don't see our armour much of the time, and are thinking of making certain forms like a "cooldown" spell so that we see our armour. They could have easily worked tier armour into our forms, but either way, complaining about hair colour is miniscule. For one, quote quote for truth.
Two, ARMORED KITTIEZ LULZ.
Night elves would/could look similar to their racial mounts =x

Seriously? You would be willing to pay up to 2500g so that your hair looks good... 10% of the time?
It just doesn't make sense to me.
