These snag me up on every class. I am making an elemental shaman, but I'm not sure what proffesions I should go for, I'm leaning towards Herbalism and either Alchemy or Inscription but I'm really not sure what prof would be the most benificial.

I already have a black smith and an engineer, so I wanted to try something new but I am considering at least skining, if anything for the boost to crit rating.

From what i have seen, and done with my Elemental Shaman, i am currently an Inscription / Herbalist. Which i am planning on dropping for Enchanting after i get my inscription maxed out at 450(only 5 skill lvls away). the benefits from Inscription Shoulder Enchant better then The Sons of Hodir's Greater Inscription of the Storm. The difference is 36 spell power, to some class that's not a lot, but for Elemental Shamans that's a lot. Enchanting, its my personal choice. I am finding myself not having a Enchanter to break down the boss loots. Plus on top of that you get the ring enchants, which are getting buffed up in 3.2 patch. So but for a Profession that you should have, I agree with Nccbontrager. Jewelcrafting and Blacksmithing are right now, the two best DPS, and Tanking professions to have the extra gem slots and bonus dragoneye gems really help in the extra mile. But profession are ment to be something that you can help others and yourself out, but i prefer to something that i like to do, enchanting everyone will always need an enchater and inscription will alway have work making glyphs for alts main, and duel speced ppl.
