Guild Name: Dragon Gate Inn
Faction: Alliance
Realm (US/EU): US
Realm Type: PvE
Realm Timezone: Mountain Time Zone
Currently working on Firefighter
Looking for all types of range dps
25 Ulduar Cleared (Hardmodes: FL + 4, XT, Hodir, IC, Thorim)
10 Ulduar Cleared (Hardmodes: Every boss except for Yogg and yes we killed Algalon )
Our Guild in a Nutshell
We play the game to have fun and kick ass. Although our raid schedule is pretty casual (7.5 hours per week), we maintain an extremely focused and hardcore mentality when it comes to raiding. Throughout WotLK we've maintained our position as the #2 guild on Perenolde, finishing many of the milestone achievements (6MM, 10M3D, etc) within a couple days of the leading progression guild, and several weeks ahead of all others.
We've been farming Ulduar 25 for a few weeks now, have our discs, and are pushing to knock out the rest of the hard modes and unlock Algalon.
What We Expect
1. A good attitude. This basically boils down to "don't be a ^&*!@#." It's just a game. Have fun.
2. Skill. You should be good enough to pass for a cyborg. You should always have current, accurate knowledge of your abilities, their priorities and/or rotation, talents, glyphs, gearing, chants, and gemming choices, and understand how all of these fit together to benefit of both you and the rest of the raid, for any given encounter.
3. Awareness. This is technically a subset of #2, but it's important. This includes environmental awareness, as well as the ability to adapt quickly, should you be given surprise directions mid-combat.
4. Thick skin. Chances are you'll eventually !*! something up, and we'll call you out on vent if we don't have time to type it out in whispers, or if we think it's beneficial that other people in the raid learn from your mistake. Don't get butthurt over it.
5. Performance. You need to perform well, whether that's DPS, healing, tanking, or some particular encounter gimmick. We expect you to have a solid PC, solid Internet connection, and appropriate gear for the difficulty level. We certainly understand that lag or wonky PC issues creep up from time to time, but if you're blaming those regularly for your shortcomings, you won't last long.
6. Preparation. The guild provides fish feasts for all 25 man runs, and will cover 25 man repair bills for all members of "Raider" rank or above. Everyone is expected to be flasked for all progression content, with the appropriate food buff (which may or may not be the fish feast) and necessary potions. Obviously we also expect that your gear be fully gemmed, enchanted, and/or otherwise enhanced to maximize its effectiveness.
Our Schedule
We raid Tuesday,Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday nights, from 8:30 - 11:00 PM server (mountain) time.
Looting
We use DKP for almost everything. In very rare cirumstances (such as legendary items, or the first "key" to unlock a new encounter like Malygos or Algalon), we'll use a loot council.
