The Dropouts came to life mid TBC era as a competitive PVE guild. The guild quickly gained the attention of the server and shortly joined the ranks as a top raiding guild. We excel due to our focus and preparation for each raid. The core of our group is built of team players that are unselfish, knowledgeable, and have the desire to always get better.
Raiding Schedule:
Sunday - Thursday: 7:15pm – 11pm EST
Fridays/Saturdays (off night) may run something fun (ie. AQ-40, Heroic Naxx, maybe some pvp)
Raiding:
Each raiding attempt will have sign-ups or posts either via; guild website, in game calendar, or in the guild message of the day. All raiders must be logged on and prepared for the current encounter we are facing, ON TIME! This includes, but not limited to;
- Gear must be enchanted and gemmed
- Must be PVE spec'ed and glyphed
- Must have knowledge of the encounter we are about to face
- Must have the necessary add-ons for your class (ie. DBM, decurse, omen, x-perl, bidder) all available on curse.com...except bidder.
- Must have ventrillo
- Most importantly, must have the desire to be a part of a group.
Current Recruitment:
We are currently recruiting any player that has the ability to be the best and fill their part in the raid. We are not impressed by gear, or achievements. We are looking for players that can adapt on the fly and can communicate. Our immediate attention will be focused on the following class applicants:
Shamans
Priest
Paladin
Feral (Tanking) Druid
Moonkin
Rogue
Like stated earlier all dedicated applications will be considered. We are looking for roll fillers, not someone that wants to stick out.
Rules and Regulations
All rules can be found on the guild website
http://thedropouts.guildlaunch.com. The guild does use -0- sum DKP as the fairest way to distribute loot, hence the need for the bidder add-on.
Application Process
All interested players must apply through guild website
http://thedropouts.guildlaunch.com. The homepage has a link titled apply to guild. There will be a series of steps that should be self explanatory. Fill in your responses to the provided questions. All posts will be reviewed weekly. If your character is on the Eredar server you will get an in-game whisper or mail, if we are interested. If you are planning on transferring a character, make sure you make that clear on the application and we will email you or you can created an level 1 character on our server.
Once invited into the guild, your 30 day probation period begins. “Probies” will immediately start earning DKP when invited into a 25 man raid and can bid on boss loot. If you can show up and become an important part of our end game progression after 30 days you will be invited to stay with us. If you cannot carry your own weight, you may as well search for a more casual guild.
