Trolls are the Horde's female dwarf: no one likes them.
Honestly I don't know why, dey got da voodoo mon!
If you were meaning Lore-Wise, then wait for the next poster.

Lore wise, most of the Darkspear's are from the island that Thrall and the Horde found during crossing to Kalmidor. Once they made a settlement in southern durotar in the Echo Islands, it was taken over by a Rogue Witch Doctor, they moved most of those that didn't fall to the voodoo back to the mainland.
Simply put, Darkspear = Gnomes for our game purposes.

You mean, as in troll players?
That isn't really associated to lore, people just don't like them.

Are you kidding? The only thing I love more than Trolls are Orcs, but I love trolls a helluva lot.

I love playing my troll rogue! So much fun. The body styles seem more unique to me than the others and I've heard that the racial "berserk" was a really good one for preists. The only negativity I've ever seen towards trolls is in the way they talk, example: An incident in Org where a troll toon was "talking," very loudly, in a manner similar to Jar-Jar. It got on my nerves and many others.

Yeah that's the only thing I dislike, I get that all the Darkspear trolls speak in jamaican accents, I'm fine with that, but I'd still like to know why all trolls; jungle forest frost and ice trolls speak like that as well.

Sometimes when it really irks me I convince myself that it's the tusks that cause a severe racial speech impediment. Also, everyone's parents were heavily into voodoo. Strange times, mon.

Game-wise: It's likely aesthetics and awful racials that scare players from choosing da' troll. Some don't like the "ugly" women, some don't like the slouch.
I agree with this. The female trolls I don't have a big of an aesthetic issue with, but the male trolls look unnatural and deformed. At least naga can stand up straight. What happened to their evolution that caused the males to develop the severely arched back? Their feet almost have to be as big as they are to keep them from falling face-forward.

explanation can be found in the why trolls are better thread hehe
no but seriosly its a mystery to everyone
i belive it is some sort of "adaptation" or they are raised to stand like that becouse of their large size it is most likely easier to hide from predetors (or ambush them) when crouching

On forest and jungle trolls it makes sense; they are adept at hunting and moving through the trees, so their used to crouching low so something from below doesnt see them moving around.
For Ice, Island and Dark trolls....... not as much heh.

Lore: Didn't the intro cinematic for the trolls state them almost being wiped out by Murlocs?
Game: It's like Where's Wally/Waldo. There's one out there, but the prick keeps hiding.

The Darkspear trolls were found by Thrall and the Horde during the escape from Eastern Kingdoms to Kalmidor, the Trolls had been captured along with Thrall by the Sea Witch and her murloc servants. The Horde won the day but Sen'jin died to save them all. Those we see in Warcraft are the remains of that group from the Island, and during the starter quests for the Trolls you see what happened to them with Echo Islands and the rest.
Fixed as well heh. Always get them mixed up.
