I personally prefer mangle too but I need atleast 1 point in Shredding Attacks to move onto the next tier after Feral Charge, so based on preference I guess I could do

instead?

Primal Precision is nearly worthless. Why ? Because as a feral druid, attacking from behind ( even if it's not for a shred ) should be a priority.
Brutal Impact lost his appeal since bash is not sharing diminishing return with maim.
Imp. Leader of the Pack is a must, you'll go oom without it and the passive healing is quite interesting.
Protector of the Pack is also an impressive talent, both offensive and defensive.
Here's my feral pvp spec:

Well I guess I wasn't informative enough, this is primarily for 2s with a frost mage.
So I don't need Nurturing Instinct, and with my comp it's not a matter of survivability as much as it is burst so I don't need Imp LotP either.
As of now I'm still thinking I'm gonna go

, anyone else have any objections on why not to?

you NEED Imp.LotP in every pvp aspect.
you will cyclone, you will heal, you will powershift and without this talent, you'll go oom. Also, don't improve shred and mangle, pick one and use it as your main attack.
