Alright, I just started a new druid, level 5 atm. I was thinking about going Balanced 10-20 then switching to feral cat at 20. What Heirlooms should I get, how do they work and can I ever sell them back to vendor ?
Also I'm curios to know which spec is most fun :)
Edit: I have 2 level 80's btw, so yes I know I can only get heirlooms with stones and emblems

Get the shoulders that give the 10% experience bonus.
You can't vendor them afaik. It's worth checking what enchants you can get on the item (when it is in the hands of your lvl 80 char). I know with the weapons you can put lvl 60 enchants on them (like 30 spell power) then send to your low lvl alt.
For levelling feral is very fun. Being able to kill with no downtime at all is fun. Being able to tank many mobs at once is fun. Moving around 30% faster when questing is fun (feral switness that is). It's all good.

Stealth, don't forget the stealth. It's the most awesome thing you can have for leveling (well, no downtime whatsoever is high on the list, too ;) ).
(Yes you can stealth as Moonkin, too - but it requires more shifting, draining your mana. Additionally you will be detected much easier (which is very relevant if you are doing yellow quests) and you will move a lot slower, making untalented stealth not nearly as effective as the talented one.)
No vendoring but you can re-use them on other alts. The leather ones would be great for Rogues as well as (enhance) Shamans or Hunters pre-40 (and probably even quite a while after that). But then again there is no reason to level new alts once you got a Druid ;)
Assuming this list is correct:

Getting those seems kind of awesome. The badges are kind of worthless anyway, I'd burn them on heirlooms instead of using valuable emblems of heroism.
The AT ones listed on the wiki have chest and shoulder armor both with 10% xp gain. Does anybody know if they stack?

Thank you very much for your help, I'm definitely taking feral to atleast 60.
Just one thing I'm in doubt with.
Exceptional Stormshroud Shoulders
or
Stained Shadowcraft Spaulders
Also, what weapon is best ? I noticed that there's no 2h we can use...

Feral
-speed
-least amount of downtime (probably of any class or spec)
-bear is your "Oh sh*t" form and feral makes it that much better
-cat does meaningful damage now
-if you do need to aoe bears do it quite well and from the safety of that thick fur
-virtually uncrittable against anything you'd realistically fight once you get
SotF
-improved stealth
-self healing and mana regen from crits
-5% melee/ranged crit for the whole group
-generally speaking this is your soloing spec
Balance
-ranged is pretty much always an advantage
-you won't be bored with the kentucky fried crit chicken
-roots roots roots
-same armor as dire bear (untalented)
-aoe knockback
-aoes aoes aoes
-your own foliage army
-5% spell crit for the entire group
-
MOONFIRE!
Resto
-well you're near impossible to kill
-but it takes a god awful long time to kill anything as well
-6% healing to the whole group
-could heal a dungeon in your sleep
A few
laughs.

Feral is largely raw stat dependent due to our stat multipliers, agility giving crit, armor, and dodge for bear, crit, dodge, armor, and attack power for cat, and if specced also gives bonus healing, and stamina giving an enormous bonus to bear.
Exceptional Stormshroud Shoulders
give both of these while the latter's only real alure is in the hit rating which is invaluable at lower levels but quickly finds itself on all other gear making it less of a concern.
For feral 2 hand maces/staves with strength/agil/stam, for balance look for daggers/staves with int/spell power/spirit/crit/haste, and for resto look for int/spirit/spell power/mp5

Thanks for your answer(s), second one helped me amazingly much but I'm still in doubt with the weapon. Should I even bother with heirlooms since there is no 2h at all that we can use ? Or just get those shoulders and maybe 1 or 2 haste trinkets for emblems ?

if you're going feral just snag the shoulders and maybe a trinket or 2, the heirloom weapons are crap for feral

I would agree on the resilience shoulders. If the others had crit rating instead of hit, I might want those more, especially at lower levels, but hit rating on leveling gear? I guess... Either way, the Agi/Resil ones are great -- and you'll even be able to use them while tanking for a boost to your crit avoidance.
Ferals also don't get very much from haste. It's one of our lowest weighted stats. The health restoration could be nice, but I don't remember ever wishing for something like that -- on the other hand, the caster trinket is amazing. It's almost worth buying two of them as the mana return from each stacks. For example, on my mage, my trinket combined with Master of the Elements can leave me with almost a zero-net mana loss from a big AoE pull. Anyhow, that's neither here nor there.
I'd get the Resil shoulders, wouldn't waste the tokens on the trinket. In 3.2, at which point you'll still be leveling (unless you're insane), you can pick up
Repurposed Lava Dredger
and
Stained Shadowcraft Tunic
. The chest mostly for the +10% XP that stacks with the shoulders.
For those 3.2 items, though, you will need to have spent a serious amount of time with the AT dailies to unlock the new Heirloom vendor. If you haven't started, you better hop to.

the new heirlooms in 3.2 are buyable with emblems of heroism, you don't *need* to unlock the argent tourney vendor and earn those tokens. you can, though, if you'd rather save your emblems for something else.
Are you sure about that for the chest pieces? Citation?

Aye, resto druids can heal in their sleep hence
Teldrassil Sproutling
sleeping when you stand still.
For the sake of leveling however I'd recommend feral as it's the stand-alone soloing spec, it's simply a recommendation though and above all else you should play what you're comfortable with.
I couldn't for the life of me find competent pugs leveling so build my druid around being an unstoppable ursine wall and have yet to regret it once. Offspecced boomkin for some lightshows when things begin to get redundant.
