Discipline doesn't really have to stack a lot of Haste. The only spells that really benefit from it are Flash Heal and the occasional Prayer of Healing, but you can use Borrowed Time and Power Infusion to help you with that.
I'll give you a few guild lines to help you with gearing:
- Borrowed Time is only consumed by spells with a cast time (though it benefits all). Instant spells like PoM and Penance don't consume the buff but still get benefit.
-Discipline lives and dies by crit. You need it to proc Divine Aegis. Getting your crit to 28% to 30% unbuffed is doable and a good bar to set. Once your crit rating is up, go ahead and take that extra haste whenever you see it.
-You'll want to gem and enchant mostly for spellpower and crit. Even with the nerfs, if you watch your mana return spells, regen won't be a problem. Still, you'll want all the extra throughput you can get.
A build for leveling as Discipline. Take a look at the talents and later decide for yourself.
The standard full healing build. You wouldn't want to go questing in the spec if you can avoid it, but it will excel in PvE healing.

All correct, in the PVE Healing Spec the 2 points in Healing Focus can be re-arranged in Spell Warding or Divine Fury (it doesnt rly make a difference)
some Disc priest say they use 10% haste but I agree with prime that Haste is not needed at all, you'll be spamming Penance off CD and Flash Heal the haste has little use there and the 6% from Enlightment are more than enough, just look for SP > Int > Crit as main stats, get some mp5 too but only after 30% crit unbuffed

However, its generally a good idea to get 10% - 15% haste, incase your limited by Weakened Soul
