It'll work, surely but slowly it'll work. However, the only leveling talent you chose was reflective shield.
If your adamant on not going
shadow
, I'd recommend a
disc/holy hybrid lolsmite spec
. You'll should still find yourself able to heal adequately until 80.
If your still into a (nearly) full healing spec, be ready to shell out 1000g or endure slower soloing.
**Note, both the shadow and hybrid specs are something I just came up with on the spot; there's still room to tweak them up.

Doh...I did forget
ST
on my lolsmite spec. /facepalm
See here, your talking about how large your shields are...I honestly don't remember at all where your sp would be at that level, so I'll round it off at 400.
What affects your shield's absorption?
942 base absorption
Your shield recieves approximately 80% of your sp as bonus absorption
TD
stacks with
FP
for up to 9% more to your shield
Imp PW:S
= 15% more
BT
= 40% of your sp (as well as the 25% haste buff)
full disc: (942 + 1.2 * 400) * 1.09 * 1.15 = 1782
lolsmite: (942 + 0.8 * 400) * 1.05 * 1.15 = 1523
The lolsmite will offer slightly more due to an increased sp from
SG
.

You could go lolsmite as stated already, that's an option at least until you hit 70.
When you hit 70, that is when you can take a true
Discipline leveling build
.
Now, so your leveling doesn't slow down, you want to keep going until you get to
Searing Light
. Example
here
.
At 80 you can respec for a full healing build make do with that. It'll get you through heroics provided your gear is okay, but you'll want a
real healing build
for anything beyond that.

Why did you not take Power infusion? It's great with smite specs, I mean, how is 1.5s smites and Penances
not
good?

Go ahead and go for it, but when you're talking about straight grinding, situational spells with modestly long cooldowns can't be relied on.

long cooldowns
It has 20% less cooldown with
Aspiration
.
Aka, 1.6 (96s) minute cooldown, if you're not pulling many mobs, you should be able to pop this every second or third fight, just like trinkets.
Though, in my opinion, 1.6 minutes is nothing.

Disc and shadow are both good to lvl but there are lvls where one outshines the other.
Disc is actualy better than shadow up 50. This is when you get vampiric touch and your downtime is reduced tremendly as shadow. From 50 to 59 things are equal. Above 60 shadow is the way to go, thanks to dispertion (and later at 66 shadowfiend) you never stop to drink.
What most people don't understand is that lvling as disc is much like lvling as prot paladin, its about aoe pulls. Pull 3, 5, even 10 mobs, if your gear can handle. Shield up, dot all mobs and holy nova (reflective shield is a must for this).
At lvl63, I personaly pulled 25 nagas in Zangarmarsh and lived to take the profits (being well geared and having engineering above 400 definetly helped).
At 50 disc starts to lose it's aoe power as most mobs will out last your mana this way. But in the other hand at 60 you get penance, which has good dmg potencial. In a rotation like: Penance > holy fire > penance most mobs will be either dead or about to die. if a mobs has a bit more of hp might want to put a dot or two, but thats common sense.
The main diferences between disc and shadow are:
1 - even though disc is more mana efficient, eventualy you will need to stop and drink, that wont happen as shadow.
2 - even though shadow has it's survival capabilities, disc will outlast most encounters.
In the end is a matter of taste as both are viable.

Edit:
Note that all this pertains to Northrend leveling.
I, nor anyone else here, said that leveling Discipline was the most effective way. It isn't, just like any healing spec.
Still, if you want a healing spec that doesn't suffer so much when soloing, especially in high levels, Discipline outshines Holy in that area.
Of the two healing specs, Discipline offers more offense, which you'll clearly feel when soloing as those two specs. Holy, has very few offensive talents and save Surge of Light, they can all be picked up by a Discipline leveling spec.
I leveled Discipline through Northrend for two main reasons:
1) I wanted to go through every single dungeon I could get into on my way to 80
2) It was less painful than Holy for soloing.
And yes, I have tasted Shadow at all levels. After Vampiric Touch there's no better way to solo, but if you want to heal while you level, Discipline offers that as well as the extra offensive boost to keep soloing from being a total pain.
