Return: Paladin, War, DK?

Making yet another long considered return to WoW since I have time now and would like to dedicate time to just one character without any chance of Alts, so right there gives one advantage to Paladin.
Which of these three from a
melee
standpoint do you see as most fun to play? I prefer classes that make use of instants and burst damage, which Warrior does have an edge in last I checked, followed by Paladin. The main thing I like about DK however is the 'flashyness' and all-around entertainment you can have with their range of skills compared to the others, which are less impressive.
Overall, out of those three choices it would seem Paladin is the most versatile so I would have less chance becoming bored, but what if the other two far exceed in it combat? Tell me what you think of the three.
Edit: PvP will NOT be a major concern. Heavily considering Paladin and DK moreso now.
C-c-c-c-combo Edit for below:
I don't intend to tank, simply DPS
. I would like to sometimes go Holy for BGs and such, but thats only a part time perk of Paladin where as the DK may excel in raiding if done right.

At this point of time if you only care about results, stay away from warriors.

Anyone else care to weigh in on Paladin V. DK who has one? Would like opinions on which would preform better DPS come patch 3.2.

I personally would go Paladin. I was in the same situation as you, and I chose a Paladin, and I am glad I did. With dual spec, I like being a healer and a dps. I don't like much tanking. So just from someone similar too you, I'd go Pally.

I would not suggest the Paladin, as a dps spec it is incredibly boring in raids (and low numbers to boot).
Deathknights are really fun, but a dps specced deathknight is by far the most common class in WoW, about two and a half for every warlock. So if you roll deathknight, you either need to know a good guild that will accept you for raiding, or be prepared to claw your way past countless others.
Oh and FOTM = Flavor of the Month. Generally used to describe overpowered classes/specs within a PvP setting that will only be so for a short period (unless they are a druid or a deathknight).

DK ftw.
Look, sooner or later you will get tired of same old rotation, when BAM! DK has 3 dpsing trees. Just change a tree, and you got a ... slightly different way of playing.
Paladin has 1 dps tree, and warrior has 2. These 2 trees are very distinct, I believe more distinct than the 3 DK trees, but still I think DK is a better solution.

have very diffrent feels and in my expeiriance DK's are a idiot proof class who anyone can play well.
No... The amount of bad DK's is just amazing. And the difference between a good and a bad can be insane. But yes, a DK can do good, while still "only" being a average player.
I've always wondered, what does FOTM mean? I can use in context, I just don't know what it stands for...
Flavour of the Month.
